Yes I have found myself in the same predicament and wrote a fic out of it. Yes... I kinda like someone in my workplace... We've been on a couple of dates and there's this bitch eyeing him. And this is what I feel often.

Mine: Seokmin x Reader

“You're pouting…” Seungkwan noticed.

I immediately fixed my pout and smiled. “What?” 

“You're pouting,” he repeated. 

“Yeah, I'm just not feeling well” I lied. He came in front of me and held his palm against my forehead. “No it's not that” I said moving away.

“Okay! What is it? You shouldn't be this cranky this early in the morning” he said “wait, where's Seokmin? He's generally around here at this time” he noted and you sighed. Exactly you issue.

“He's off on a client meeting” you said. “But that's happened before that can't be why you're pouting” Seungkwan said. “With Minji” I completed. 

“Oh.” He said “Oh, okay I get it”

Yes, Minji has been on the lookout for Seokmin since forever. It didn't really bother me before, not before him and I ended up in the same project spending hours together and then ended up with going on a couple of dates. The problem is that we're colleagues and neither of us wanted our relationship to become public, so kept all of that secret. Which also meant that Minji was unbothered by any shit and stuck to Seokmin like lice to hair. Even though the man has clearly rejected her a couple of times and Minji apparently has a boyfriend. 

“Your knuckles are turning red, stop clenching” Seungkwan said, hitting my tightened fist. 

"The issue is that I've been in different situations all my life and had people eyeing the person I like. But watching someone in front of my eyes, drooling over that person is something completely else. I think not seeing it and trusting your partner is much easier than looking at it with your own eyes" I grumbled.

"I can understand" Seungkwan said "It must really be difficult" he grimanced.

It's been a bit over an hour and I see Seokmin entering the floor, with Minji holding unto his hand. A switch turned inside me and I was very angry. 

My brain was stuck to one aspect. ‘Hands off my man’

“Seokmin!” I said and I walked towards him.

“Y/nie” he said, his face brightening up as he tried to pull his hand away from her as the witch gave me a sour look. 

I rushed to him, taking his face in between my palms and kissed his lips. He was taken aback but then I felt him kiss me back, soon I felt two hands on my waist and I pulled back.

Seokmin looked at me in shock and surprise. And we both laughed as I heard Seungkwan and my other close colleague Chan cheer out loudly. 

I hid my face in his chest. 

We heard a stomp and footsteps, and I waved as I watched Minji stomp away towards her place.

“Now what?” I ask him, a little tense at my own action.

“Who cares?” He said and peck my lips again as we both broke into laughter.

Why is this so true?

Even though Gyu is not my bias, but I consider him as my love, because I'm not in love with Kim Mingyu the Idol, but the man he is outside the stage.

Over all it's funny cause I don't want anyone to fall in love with me cause I'm scared I'm too complicated and they won't be able to keep up with me. Yet the thing that I crave the most is to be loved by someone. To be someone's priority.

mingyu is for the girlies who always settled for less, who always hid their goofy side, who don't have a good relationship with their mother, who never stop pretending tireless, who hate their birthday, who remember a lot, who want to live by the mountains alone, who always looks at their sufferings as embarrassments, who are living on strangers kindness, who are constantly attempting to escape, who don't want anybody to fall in love with them.

I relate to this so much... Cause I somehow have ended up in a similar situation 🤣

And it's gonna be difficult to tell people that now you like the person, you couldn't stand being in the same room with 😭😭😭
