Farnesca is real, with evidence

Sorry for my bad english, sorry is my first post. Me and my university professors are fans of Berserk. We are sure that the end of Berserk will be manipulated by the same producers as YoungAnimal (publisher that has been manipulating Berserk’s work in the last two arcs). Producers give problems, they only think about money, the “Naruto” franchise is proof of this. With my teachers we decided to take these 3 months of quarantine to study Kentaro Miura and Berserk. We have discovered beautiful and horrendous things. However, today I am here to talk to you about “Farnesca”. Farnesca is real? Is it cannon? The correct answer is: “Farnesca is as cannon as you want … up to a point.” Why?
The Berserk manga has criticized world society and Japanese society several times, for example machismo (Chapter 16 manga) or the church (Tower of Doom Arch). Kentaro Miura has shown that the Berserk characters have a psychology very similar to the real one. Kentaro Miura, in the manga world, he is a progressive author. Unfortunately Japan has an almost conservative society, my friend Hideto Nakandakari (JapatonicTV, his YouTube channel) confirms this last saying. Let’s talk a little about sexual orientation. According to my history teacher, in the Middle Ages, compulsory heterosexuality was very common, especially in central Europe where religion was present. It would be logical that in the world of Berserk homosexuality is a taboo. This allows the author to highlight the stupidity of the world in the iron age, where the homosexual is hated and the rapist is respected. Berserk is a story that tries to reflect the horrible reality of the world … on paper.
Let’s talk about the sexual orientation of each character. To tell the truth, in Berserk the characters have too many problems to focus on sexual orientation. Probably no character has problems with their sexual orientation. According to my Professor of Psychology and Professor of Literature, Guts and Griffith are likely to be bisexual … but as I said, in this story the sexual orientation of the characters does not matter, there are more serious problems. Let’s talk about Casca. Casca has been rescued by Griffith. Casca has admired Griffith throughout her childhood and adolescence. They have grown together. Casca has started falling in love in Chapter 15 (manga) and that’s why her behavior has changed (Judeau confirms it before Guts leaves the Band of the Falcon). That means Casca liked men at the time. However in the eclipse she has suffered sexual abuse, that is why we have seen penis monsters in her memories. The existence of these monsters means that Casca has Coitophobia. When Casca recovered, Elaine’s feelings were stored in her unconscious. When Casca sees Guts, the unconscious attacks Casca. The same thing happened to Guts in the old chapters. They both have the same mental illness. Casca is afraid of sex and Elaine is afraid of Guts. Let’s talk about Farnese. According to Berserk, when a ghost enters your body, it awakens your sexual instincts and fuses them with death and sacrifice. In “the doom tower arch” we have seen possessed Farnese undressing wanting to fornicate with guts, when Guts pushed her, Farnese began to masturbate with the DragonSlayer. Then the ghost left her body and Farnese returned to normal. Farnese was so embarrassed by this act that he asked Serpico to assassinate Guts. Later, Farnese indirectly asks Serpico to escape from the holy land to have a life together as a future couple. Serpico rejects it. Panels later, Farnese masturbates with cremated corpses. Chapters later we will discover that Farnese was secretly sexually attracted to Serpico throughout adolescence. Several chapters later Farnese decides to change. Farnese hates the old Farnese. We have seen how Farnese begins to disgust when remembering her past, possibly developing trauma. According to my psychology professor, there are people who develop trauma after reconsideration. Farnese may relate sex to his past. Conclusion:
Farnesca is real, Farnese and Casca are possibly asexual for all their trauma. Only they can understand each other. They both have a strong sentimental bond with each other (Confirmed by Hanafubuku Dannan). According to my Literature professor and my Psychology Professor, the Farnesca is possibly a “Sisterhood” or a “Non-romantic love friendship”.
Farnese and Casca have a special and different “Love”, a love that they can never give to another person, a special love that unites them as one person. Farnese has shown an interest in “healing the cracking mind” in the same way that Schierke does with Guts. Farnese and Casca will be united in a much more special way than the union between Guts and Casca. This is Farnesca, a love stronger than classic love, a love stronger than the love of friends. And what do you think? Do you agree? They are free to comment what you want! PD: I love how the fans of farnesca draw! Don’t stop! #farnesca Greetings to @farnesca My friends and I are your followers!
Let’s talk about Shin
Nana has many complex characters and I think Shin is sometimes misunderstood.
When we are first introduced to Shin he’s only 15 years old (lying about being 18, even though no one really believed that to be the case). He comes from an emotionally abusive household, his father admits to not being able to care for him and the only interaction we see him have with his brother is just terrible. One can only imagine the level of neglect and pain he had to experience throughout his childhood.
It’s mentioned that he wasn’t raised in Japan, having sometimes issues with the language and culture (his lack of knowledge about Japanese culture is an ongoing gag amongst the group). He escapes his home and ends up being taken advantage of by a predatory woman (that flight attendant), who not only abuses him, but introduces him to pr*stitution. Whenever he mentions this in the manga, especially in the beginning, he seems to be very nonchalant about this fact, distancing himself from how serious the issue is, by simply describing it as work. He is many times portrayed as being mature and “wise beyond his years”, even going as far as to give advice to Nobu and Reira about their emotional problems. There are times where we can forget how young he actually is.
I think Ai Yazawa does this on purpose.
At the beginning, we see Shin as a very mature young person: the way he acts, the people he surrounds himself with, his way of expressing himself… He seems very secure in this persona he puts forward, and for a big part of the manga he almost manages to fool us.
But Shin is still a child, and a very hurt one at that. Hachi is one of the few people who recognizes this, she gives Shin something he has never experienced: unconditional love. Shin admits this himself, the bond he has with Hachi is so special because for the first time in his life someone loves him for him, selflessly, without expecting anything in return.
One of the most frustrating parts of the way his character is treated is people’s reaction to his relationship with Reira. Throughout the manga people expect this teenager to be Reira’s saving grace (I could write an entire analysis on how the people around her have enabled her to be the way she is). Not a single adult steps forward to comment on how inappropriate this relationship is. Only Takumi, and just to protect Reira’s image from a possible scandal. He even asks him to wait for her until he turns 18. It’s honestly sickening. Not once did anyone think of removing him from that relationship for his own good. Shin is left confused without understanding his feelings, wanting to “save” Reira and do good by her and his band. It’s honestly heartbreaking to read, the amount of pressure he has to deal with.
It’s not surprising he ends up giving into self-destructive tendencies after Reira (a whole adult who has no business being involved with a teenager), breaks up with him. His first reaction is going back to the woman who took advantage of him the first time, and then the chaos with his arrest ensues.
Honestly, Shin just need to be protected at all costs, so many people seem to forget how young he actually is.
