I've started reading I Was Born For This, and it doesn't seem like it's really all that connected with the rest of the Osemanverse books, so I have a headcanon that Jimmy is a huge Universe City fan. I think the podcast was a huge inspiration for him and how he does music. And when Aled revealed himself to the public to do a live show, that just completely changed his entire mindset on how he wants to be when he becomes famous.

I like to think the entire time, when fame was too stressful, he watches that live performance of the podcast, and feels just a little bit comforted.
