ok but i learned a lot this year and experimented and pushed myself in a lot of really weird directions, some of which turned out super good (2b was my first timed speed paint!! and she was realistic wtf!!!), some of which, rip my life don’t remind me

I think the 3 paintings that I liked the most where 2b, Swooshy Agnes, and Henry. They are rough around the edges, but they’re building blocks to what i want my art to look like this year.

Zelda got the most notice!! but i also spent so long on that one for what it turned out in i’m filled with a deep pit of shame. I really like the style, and I learned a lot from trying to emulate it but faster! also, a lot of people commented positively about how buff her arms were. those are cuts but i also agree and that’s something that i want to do more of in the future

Next year I want to spend less time doing medium impact with medium time to finish that i wasn’t really proud of at the start and start doing some more big impact things that take a long time that i can sit back and say!! yeah i did this thing and i’m proud of myself!!!! and more shit doodles because i miss them and i just want to be lazy sometimes and doing tiny easy things is good for progress and your mental health. I also want to post more speedpaints and twitch streams, those were fun.

I’m spending the rest of the week finishing up stuff that i couldn’t in december. Then its AGDQ and i want to paint some stuff for the runs going on! and then chaos

tbh the aesthetic of every b2 jobs is REALLY good so i can’t really say we were robbed, but
