No, but actually, bodyshaming has to be the cruellest things to have ever happened to anyone, especially girls. Like, why? Why why whyyyyy do you think that our physical body is the vessel or the core of our value or worthiness? Why do you even care to comment " Oh you're so fat" or "Oh you're so skinny, you should gain weight to have some breasts" like nooooo dude just leave us and our bodies alone.

In my case, as a twenty-year-old, I got bodyshamed twice or thrice as I am quite petite and I look younger than twenty, which is a beautiful blessing that God granted me with honestly, I got told that if I were to be married, it would look like my husband had married a child. The way it was delivered to me was " if you don't gain weight or you're petite and skinny, then you are undesirable for marriage" it was a big blow to me and it took me a lot to return those thoughts to sender as they reached my subconscious

I honestly thought that what was more important to me was fixing up my character, regulating my emotions, control my desires and temptations, as well as my temper, to avoid having a foul tongue and be a kind person. Placing my body as a scale to calculate how am I deserving of love or considered worthy enough is something that makes me indignant. I am so much more than my physical body, I am a young woman even if I look younger. And nothing about my body is concerned with how much value do I own. God has created me in the best image and in the most beautiful form and to honour that beautiful blessing, I take care and nourish my body. With my simple existence, that itself, is valuable

We fail to realise that the real value and beauty lies within our character, within our souls, and that shines on the outside too. We fail to see that our physical body is going to change and it is fleeting, but our soul is not, our soul is eternal and it is what should stand out the most. We are so much more than our bodies, we are all so beautiful inside out and I wish people would just stop interfering in that.

You are beautiful no matter what. You need to reminder that the way you look is divine embodied, as God is the one who created you, we all know that God created this beautiful nature, right? You are beautiful too
