yesterday I watched bucchigiri and I was totally devastated by poor Matakara he has only suffered since the beginning of the anime. If at the end of the anime Matakara doesn't forgive Arajin I won't think it's a bad ending or if Matakara forgives him and doesn't want to be his friend anymore either I won't find a bad ending. I hope that at the end of the anime Matakara will benefit and not that he will suffer more.

Honestly I'd like them to be friends again and I feel like that is probably where the shows going to (especially with the emphasis on the two being parallels of each other and how the narrative seems to want the audience to root for them to make up) But if it ends with them amicably deciding to go separate ways I can see that too. I'm super curious how Matakara is going to act towards Arajin now that he's been essentially forced to see that the images he's had of him all this time isn't who he built up Arajin to be. As much as Arajin sucks at times, I couldn't honestly say I dislike his character; he's more just interesting to me, it's been a while since I've been so invested in seeing how a character is going to change or grow in the story.

Man, Shindo looked so cute in the past. Am I the only one? But then what he went through transformed him into a handsome but still evil/ jerk. Ooooh idea for a what if, what if he had a girlfriend before and she left him after he went bad?! That would explain the NG girls lol He’s trying to fill the void the breakup gave him because she liked him before he became the “Emperor”. By taking out the two gangs Shindo thinks she won’t have a choice but to come back to him since what he was doing proves he was right.

Yo new headcanon: Shindo straight up transformed into one of those toxic masculinity podcast peddlers cause he got his heart broken in middle school. 😭

I wonder what Senya meant by the time has come, will he possess Arajin's body and what do you think Senya is using Arajin to fight Ichiya?

It seems like Honki people (entities? Genies?) aren't able to have corporal forms so they need to latch onto someone strong enough as a vessel and Arajin is finally showing he has the strength and will to merge. Based on what little we have on Senya and Ichiya he wants to meet him again and fight him. Maybe he lost their last encounter? But it also feels like there's something else going on, something more than just Senya wanting to fight Ichiya. I guess we'll see.

What is happening to Matakara is breaking my heart.

Also, I didn't realize until Arajin said it outloud that Matakara didn't actually know this whole time he ran away from those bullies. Was that just me? I feel like that wasn't really explained prior. But whatever, as someone who lost an older sibling who was (always will be) my best friend, I legit started crying thinking Mitsukuni was already dead. Like wtf, when did this show get so real?

Also, also, totally off topic...but damn was Ichiya worth the wait. 🥵

Arajin is attracting all the guys lol😆😆😆 I love it! He’s got good boy Matakara and now Shindo might be in a love hate relationship.

It kind of reminds me of Tsuna Sawada from Katekyo Hitman Reborn. He has a huge crush on this girl in his class but he basically keeps attracting a harem of dudes lol.

Somehow the english dub VA for Shindo managed to make this petty psycho sound 10x more horny and gay and I am LIVING FOR IT.
