World building for a time travel setting

"first things first, Hypertime is the time the timelines themselves experience and change over.

Imagine -1Xtime as a vast river where the ocean represents the Big Bang. All estuaries, or branches of the river, eventually merge back into the ocean regardless of how they change along the way. Changing timelines is difficult. If you throw a pebble into the river, nothing significant happens disproving the butterfly effect. However, a large impact, like a meteor, or natural changes over hypertime through chronal erosion, can alter the river’s pathways. This means your past and future are constantly evolving, not just because time progresses, but due to minor or major events that may occur years ago or in the future. History (and therefore your memories) corrects itself so seamlessly that you remain unaware of these changes. Unless you time travel out and then when you return you have not been shifted but everything else has leading you to arrive in a world that is different from that which you remember.

Essentially, the entire universe as it was, is, and will be, exists only for a single instant of hypertime. Just as no molecule of water can travel through and exit the same river because the river has changed over the amount of time it took said molecule to flow down the length of the river, the river of time alters continuously before it finally reaches the ocean. As a result, you cannot access an erased timeline because its estuary simply no longer exists. Traveling through time is like moving up and down the river, but you cannot travel through hypertime. The river branch will have shifted so drastically as to render it unrecognizable."

Owning a Wizard Tower has been great, but I kinda want to travel again. Thankfully I've created this doppelganger - which definitely is not a cardboard cutout of me with a tape recorder glued to the back - to manage things while I'm gone.

Imagine being a sentient robot built with planned obsolescence to force you to buy new body parts 💀

Robot disabilities. Robot who charges slowly and loses power incredibly fast and is always tired. Robot with malfunctioning lenses and can’t process visual information properly. Robot that can’t process anything too large and at a fast rate or else they’ll shut down. Robot with limbs screwed on too loose/just can’t attach correctly, so if they’re not careful they fall out. Robot disabilities,,,
