My first Disco Elysium fic has barely been up for 4 hours and I’ve gotten some lovely comments and feedback, so I just wanted to say thank you to this wonderful community for welcoming a washed-up former journalist back to the ranks of fanfic creation with open arms - writing has always been my passion and the one way I’ve always been able to cope and relax when things get rough. Truth be told, I was anxious as hell to post that fic and honestly debated not posting it at all - I’ve always been self-conscious and nihilistic about my own abilities, so you all have no idea how much your words mean to me. Thank you all again so much for the opportunity to write for you and return to your side.
