Hey guys, I've been notified that @Funkysmolcat on twitter is tracing people's work including this recent drawing of Arthur I made. I can't fully recognize everything but I'm certain she's also tracing other work from artists I know, so please don't engage with their posts and let others know!

Stephen taking up most of the space on the couch

i'm curious if arthur is worried about immobility? is he prepared to reach that point? i wonder if he could find a way to continue teaching, possibly over computer, or would he consider himself retired?

Honestly, yeah, immobility is a concern he would start having as he continues putting on weight in the following years, and I don't really think he's been thinking about that himself currently.

I can imagine it can worry him quite a bit since... well, he may not mind the extra pounds, but even if he's gotten used to the limitations that come with his size, no longer being able to stand up is a bit of a scary thought.

But honestly, by the time he nears immobility he would already be struggling to walk and do basic things anyways, so perhaps it won't be that hard of a decision to make and just more of a relief for his poor legs and back.

And you're so right, he would still want to devote himself to teaching, so he'd probably take part in online courses, laptop on top of his distended stomach as he lays in bed and continues to work on educating the youth.

Emily would surely take great care of him, and Arthur would still try to do as much stretching and moving of his limbs in bed as he can to keep that blood pumping from time to time.

LOVING your Stephen wg content, im curious what the deal is with Joseph paying Neil to keep Stephen fed, it's an interesting dynamic and i'm curious how they work it out?

Oh sure thing!

It's not really like a feeder thing from Joseph, it's just that as Stephen has grown bedridden, he just can't really get stuff for himself anymore, so Joseph pays Young Neil a little bit of cash each week to make sure he fetches whatever Stephen needs, usually just being copious amounts of food he ordered.

Young Neil doesn't really "know" how much is too much for Stephen anymore, so he just brings him every food order without complaint and moves on with whatever he was doing.

Joseph tries to make sure Stephen isn't overeating, so he asks Young Neil from time to time if he's been ordering too much, but Stephen bribes Young Neil with a little bit of cash to lie and say that he's not really eating that much, a clear lie as Stephen keeps on getting heavier.
