I wonder what Olivia or the rest of the town think of his weight/ weight gain.

Olivia has no negative feelings towards Rudy's weight or the fact that it keeps going up! They're the same age and grew up very close, since their town is very small and all, so Rudy's size is just normal to her, and she always wants to make sure he's comfortable and that he isn't pushing himself too hard. As Rudy gets more and more obese, she starts offering her help more cause she really cares about him.

The rest of the town...well, they're kinda used to his size since he's always been wayy too big, so they don't really expect him to go on a diet or lose any of his weight. Rudy gets along so easily with everyone that they often forget about his size while talking with him, so there's not really anybody in his life that has told him to slim down (which in hindsight helped enabling his growth)

Well, "far past immobility" is a pretty accurate description of Rudy's future 🤭

It's already gotten really bad as is, but when he finally reaches immobility? God, I can't even imagine it, his body is just gonna start expanding and growing even more extremely heavy at a concerning pace.

What's the result of an incredibly enabling environment paired with decades worth of unattended food addiction? The thousands of pounds that Rudy will put on after spending every day stuffing himself with nobody telling him to stop. It'd be extremely optimistic to think he would even be able to move the tip of his fingers by the time he reaches his dad's current age~

Olivia’s tranquil expression with her eyes closed in her introduction makes me daydream the idea if she was blind, or had very poor eyesight. How her interactions with Rudy change…hearing huffing and wheezing, feeling light tremors from steps, heat radiating off of him, distinct difference from the summer heat. Occasionally miscalculating his size and grazing his side, or placing a hand on his, commenting to herself how big he’s gotten

No. But would I be able to see that prime, marbled pork, with that squished divot called a belly button, stretched against a fat pad starting to develop from too enthusiastic bulking and encouragement from his grandparents, and thighs that are about to be past thick and strong, and into husky and burdening, if you decided to be logical?
