An interlude on hybrids and hybrid affections: 

Out of the entire various 30 or so hybrid species- there are several marked characteristics that separate them. But One commonality among all hybrids is the need for affection. Most hybrids are bred to be extremely affectionate and cuddly by nature, with the least affectionate being snake hybrids, and the most affectionate being dog hybrids. 

But There also some exceptions to this rule- snakes hybrids like dog hybrids, exhibit typical imprinting behavior exemplified by the extreme attachment and dependence on one human. In many cases, removal of the hybrid that has imprinted from the imprinted parties will result in extreme emotional distress and depression. The hybrid in question may stop eating, taking care of themselves, or accepting any sort of affection or interaction with outside humans. 

As imprinting a second time is extremely rare if a hybrid is abandoned by it’s imprintee, these hybrids require forever homes. Imprintation between hybrids on other hybrids has never been observed and seems to be completely a subset of human/hybrid relationships, and it’s typical among most species.

- Jimin wakes with a start on a comfortable bed, the mattress thicker and more plush than any bed he’s ever slept on. - A noise, a Suprised grumble, Jimin whips his head towards the door, finding the source of his wakefulness, Namjoon looks awkward and a little sorry, “I didn’t mean to wake you but I wanted to make sure you were okay.”
