We need to stop thinking when someone begins to exercise=they want to/are trying to loose weight. Also that if people have a certain body type they “don’t exercise” or “exercise a lot”. Shut up man. People like to preach that skinny=fit=strong and skinny people will immediately be better/stronger/faster at any sport, which is just not true. I’ve had myself absolutely destroyed in the martial arts dojo by fast, strong people with bodies who society thinks are “unfit.” Go up against a sumo wrestler and then tell me if skinny=the best at every sport 🤡

Me: Exercise does not cause weight loss. This is a fact that has been demonstrated so robustly in research that even doctors, who hate and fear evidence, are grudgingly starting to admit this.

Someone reading that post: Cool, but have you considered that exercise leads to weight loss?
