whether he was an idol or not, i would suppose he’d still love creating music 

he doesn’t tell you, but when you tap on his shoulder to get his attention so as to not startle him? VERY CUTE and he absolutely loves it 

bonus when you pulled out one side of his earpieces to gently tell him food is ready, and that you’re waiting for him to start eating 

his favourite was when you sat beside him to listen to his pieces and his heart would just SWELL in pride

especially in a crowd, it was always his eyes you seeked first

he could see your entire demeanor change as soon as your eyes land on him 

and when you excitedly bounce over to his side or rapidly gesture for him to come over? 

man is whipped and he’s smiling widely at you 

he asked why and you admitted that his eyes are “so utterly beautiful it’s the first thing you’d notice”

with the height difference, mingi finds it adorable when you look UP at him for affirmation 

“mingi, what do you think of this?” “mingi, this cat is so cute!” “mingi!” 

you’d tug on his shirt (heartstrings more like) all while trying to get his attention 

and when your eyes turn into crescents smiling at him, gosh his heart is going miles per hour, he can only see you and only you alone, his hands are holding you firmly at the shoulders 

11/10 leans down to kiss you on the nose, lips, anywhere he can reach

when you reach out to tidy his hair,, once again with the height: sometimes you’d stretch out your hand and you’d neatly comb his bangs out 

he notices that you stick out your tongue but doesn’t tell you that that action melt his heart 

likes it better when his head is on your lap and you run your hands through his hair 

“why are you laughing?” “i don’t know…? it’s like i have an unhealthy obsession with your hair!” 

if his hair is wet, yunho would immediately go to you and you’d start drying his hair (he’s a happy happy man)

heeseung and jake are alike in this way 

food? eat it, shirt? wear it, charger? get it

somehow it’s innate in them to be possessive and the only way to do that is have yejun have their things

“wear this.” heeseung physically stopped yejun from leaving her room. “i was just about to get my—!” 

without much resistance, he slipped his hoodie over yejun, shrugging it on her smaller frame. “you were saying?” he smiled sweetly at her and she rolled her eyes, using her index finger to lightly nudge heeseung’s face away, “i was going to get my own cardigan. but i guess this is going to warm me up just as well.”

“jake, move over.” yejun gently nudged him so she could sit in front of the fan. jake happily obliged, eyes lighting up as she joined him on the couch. “is that iced cider?” yejun held her hand out and jake passed the drink over to her, “it’s the last cold one.” yejun nodded in appreciation, “thank you for this i need it so bad.” 

“jake hyung can i have—“ “NO.”

→ defends/ protects yejun for just about everything 

if it was any other hybrid they would just retort back and maybe join in on the fun 

but if it’s yejun? no hesitation to fight the person/ talk back sarcastically even

knows that yejun would also do the same for them (considering that they get teased the most as well) 

“yejun-ah! you look as pretty as ever.” yejun stared down awkwardly at her lap upon hearing her client’s suggestive words. jay immediately eyed yejun’s client, letting out an irritated sigh, “look sir, if you have nothing constructive to say, then shut it.” 

“jay!” yejun shook her head, but jay can already see how afraid she is. “there was a reason why i’m with her. if you don’t like it, you can go off.”

“can i get this?” yejun muttered, eyes never leaving the anime figure at the highest shelf. “noona.” jungwon pointed at her wallet, “you don’t have much.” it was a lie, sunghoon knew for one. she was just saving up for the 7 hybrids and herself. 

sunghoon pulled jungwon away from yejun, “yejun-ie, don’t listen to jungwon. you ought to treat yourself too. we can cut down on food for the next week or two.” the beam on yejun’s face was everything sunghoon needed to see.

→ oddly enough they baby yejun  

being younger than yejun also meant that they did this as a form of teasing 

but they do baby yejun, in the funniest yet most caring way possible 

they find it funny when the roles are reversed

“open up. ahh~” sunoo couldn’t stop the snickers escaping himself as he spoon-fed a currently sick yejun. “you know i can feed myself, right? i’m not dead.” yejun dead-panned but sunoo grinned nevertheless, “i know that. but you’re cute! so that’s that. here’s another bite! ahh~” yejun sighed as she let sunoo feed her. “okay, thank you so much my dear sunoo but i can handle the rest of the soup and —“ 

“say AHH~”

“noona! you’re finally home!” jungwon greeted, tail languidly swishing behind him. “i’m home indeed.” yejun groaned, arms opened to embrace jungwon. “tired day?” 

“absolutely.” as she rambled on about how her day went, jungwon sat her down by the doorway and helped to remove her shoes and socks, chucking them to one corner. jungwon stood up, glancing down at yejun, “time to shower, noona. i’ve prepped the bath for you and i’ll grab your clothes!” he added on, mirroring her wide smile. “my baby is the best.” yejun ruffled his hair and he mimicked you again, “says the bigger baby.”

it was a harmless activity, really. but here were both niki and yejun, arriving at the swings meant for kids. a “please?” from yejun was pretty much all it took for niki to relent to her inner child and now he was stuck pushing yejun as she whooped for joy. “i forgot how fun this was!” yejun whipped her head to tell him and he chuckled, “you’re such a kid.” “nuh uh, you’re the kid!"

grey domestic mouse hybrid

likes: when you leave snacks around the house, spending quiet time together with you 

dislikes: loud noises, cold weather when it snows or gets windy

habits: tends to burrito-roll himself into blankets when cold, nibbles on your inner palm for attention 

“for you.” heeseung looked up from the book in his hands to face a plastic bag chock full of snacks. 

“for me?” he repeated, questioning the bag. you grabbed his hand and passed the bag to him. “keep this stash for yourself. i’ll put the rest outside for everyone else. don’t tell them, okay?” heeseung gave a small smile at your gesture, “thank you.” you turned to leave him to his devices, only to turn around a second later as you handed him something smaller. 

“heat pack. the temperature is falling, and...i don’t want you falling sick.” you leaned over to ruffle his hair playfully, before walking away to announce that you had gotten snacks. heeseung’s smile only grew wider at the special treatment he got from you and you alone.

holland lop bunny hybrid 

likes: when you brush his floppy ears with a soft brush, cold drinks with ice to munch on 

dislikes: sudden movements or noises  

habits: twitching of his nose when happy, his ears flop down when there are loud sounds 

sunghoon inched closer to you, bit by bit. “sunghoon?” He was graced with your smile and he held out the hairdryer shyly. “can you dry my hair?” it was a unique way sunghoon bonded with you. he didn’t particularly enjoy loud sounds as he has sensitive hearing, but you made the process way better. at least he got to enjoy headpats in exchange for dealing with the irritatingly noisy device. 

sitting cross-legged in front of you, he stilled himself as you gently let him know that you’ll be starting to dry his hair. sunghoon appreciated these moments with you, when you blow-dried his hair, combing his floppy ears with that soft brush reserved for only him. 

soft “you’re doing great!” and “it’s almost done” coming from you eased his twitches and when you were finally done, he sighed in relief, but didn’t move away. you chuckled at his antics and continued to brush his now dry hair, lulling him to relax.

likes: back rubs especially when you rub his lower back, warm places

dislikes: windy weather, the sound of the vacuum cleaner 

habits: acts like he doesn’t want your attention but seeks after you all the time (aka an easily jealous kitty), will sit beside the heater 

“jay. you’ve been sulking.” jay huffed and shifts away, sitting on the opposite end of the couch. “he’s just jealous that i’ve been hoarding you since this morning.” jake teased in the background and jay heard you shoo him away. “come here you big kitten.” jay immediately spins around and crashes into your embrace, earning a big “oof” from you. 

languidly, you ran your hand from the base of his neck to his lower back, causing jay to purr contently in your arms. “so you were being jealous.” you attempted to coax an answer from him. 

“jake steals you away from me.” he hides his face into your smaller frame, “and i want you to myself.” “silly kitty. you know the both of you are equally important. i’ll give you extra cuddles tonight.”

golden retriever hybrid 

likes: belly rubs, playing/ doing physical activity with you 

dislikes: getting bruises (oddly)

habits: will hoard you the most by simply laying down on you, actually licks you for attention (just once, but it was a hair-raising experience) 

“you promised we were going to play beach volleyball!” “no...I’m tired.” Jake pouts as you writhe in his grasp, trying to get back under the covers. You sighed, slinging one arm across your face, “I can see you pouting Jake. It’s not going to work.” Jake grinned, for you had completely saw through him despite not having opened your eyes. 

“today is the weekends! i want to play ball with you.” jake reminded once again, shaking you and you placed a palm on his cheek. “jakey, why don’t we just lie down and—AHHHH!” jake hadn’t registered what he quite did (that was a lie), but he was pretty sure he had just licked your palm. you stared back at him incredulously and he cheekily grinned, “you look awake. shall we go?” 

you huffed, “no. let’s lie down~~” you trapped him with your legs and he gives in, knowing that you weren’t going to budge any time soon. much convincing and lying down later, jake and you were both fast asleep.

desert fox hybrid 

likes: sweet foods, scented candles (basically anything that smells good)

dislikes: crowds

habits: very cheeky around you, does aegyo to get out of any situation (actually make that all situations) 

“you okay?” sunoo clung onto you tighter before giving an affirmative nod. “don’t let go of me.” you emphasized and sunoo nodded once more. the crowd was beginning to increase and both of you were somehow caught in the sudden influx of haggling shoppers while getting groceries. it was funny, really: sunoo was bigger and taller than you, yet he was cowering at the mere sight of packed places. 

he leaned into your side, inhaling your familiar scent, feeling slightly at ease. you lead the way, hands gripping tightly onto his bigger ones. finally out of the crowd, he let out a sigh of relief. 

you watched him as he took a few more deep breaths and he feels bad that he made you worry. “i should have stayed home. i’m so useless-”

sunoo usually skipped out on grocery shopping days, but he wanted to walk with you, so that thought overrode the scary crowds.  

“dont’! don’t say it. you are nothing like that. you were doing great, it was just really crowded today.” 

you gave him another hug and smiled widely. “since you’re out with me, let’s treat you to something nice, hmm? how about that! let’s go eat it~” sunoo looked at where you were pointing and nodded. you tugged him along and his guilt lifted at how easily you comforted him.

likes: potted plants, basking in the sunlight, nuzzling his nose with yours

dislikes: bugs

habits: curls up at your feet, gets distracted fairly easily

it was just a lazy afternoon when jungwon saw you dozing off at the lounge chair by the balcony, phone long forgotten. jungwon’s tail excitedly swished back and forth as he approached you. gently maneuvering himself, he adjusted you so you were lying in the shade while he could bask in the sun (and also so you weren’t affected by it.)

“jungwon?” “go back to taking your cat nap.” you mumbled something unintelligent and closed your eyes. jungwon propped himself up so that his body covered most of the sunlight, while his tail curled protectively around your waist. 

“rest well.”

cheetah hybrid 

likes: eating, when you scratch behind his ears, when you tend to him

dislikes: waking up

habits: can be quite clumsy at times, yet crazily agile if he wanted to 

“OW!” niki exclaimed, hands flying to his shin. “w-what happened?” niki cast his eyes to you who were hovering worriedly by the door way. “i knocked my shin against the end of the bed.” how niki managed to do that beats him. he was still clutching his shin and one side of your lips quirked up, “you scared me for nothing.” you padded over to him and pulled out a first aid kit from the bottom of his bed. 

niki stifled a yawn (sleep hasn’t quite left his system) as you produced the medicated balm, rolling up his sweatpants so you could apply it to the already bruising skin. “you’re always getting into tiny accidents like this. how are you going to live without me?” you leaned forwards to press a chaste kiss on his forehead and he quipped back, “that’s why I’m living with you. you’re the best!”

“chicken dipped or chicken coated?” 

“dipped.” jisung answered confidently whilst being shocked that you had also stated the same thing. haechan stared at the both of you, surprise evident on his face, “didn’t know you two could agree on something for once.” 

haechan looked back down at his phone, “which sauce? cheese or barbeque—“ 

“—barbeque!” 

once again, you two shouted out a reply, before glancing at each other incredulously. “sprite or cola?” haechan asked again. 

“cola.” jisung leaned forwards, palms down on the table. you burst out laughing, “sprite for me.” haechan reached over to high-five you, for he had also chosen sprite. 

“anything else...” haechan scrolled through the food delivery app. “sides! can’t forget about the sides.” 

you perked up, earning a chuckle from jisung. “right, sides...so we’ve got fries, wedges, mashed potato.” haechan paused, “i’d like to see you get this ‘right’ for this one.” 

jisung found your antics oddly cute as you attempted to block your face from his, “no cheating!” haechan went along with your actions, “yeah jisung, no cheating. on the count of three, say one of the sides. three, two, one!” 

“fries!” you two replied simultaneously. 

“AYE! let’s go!” haechan immediately placed in the order for the food and everyone collectively sighed. 

“that was intense for no reason!” you exclaimed, holding your hands up as if you were questioning the entire process. jisung momentarily held his hands over his face: his heart almost bursting at how wholesome you were. 

“once again, i didn’t know you two could agree on something, especially food items. i thought you guys had differing tastes?” 

you shrugged your shoulders at haechan’s scarily accurate comment and jisung hid a pleased smile, “well people can change.” 

you made a confused noise but haechan raised an eyebrow at his words, an all-knowing grin on his face. little did you know, jisung had been changing himself bit by bit to match you.
