celebrities who actually came out as nonbinary constantly have their identity ignored and swept under the rug.

sam smith had been using they/them pronouns exclusively since 2019 and people still use he/him for them.

demi lovato has been out for a year now and people still don’t even know about it. they’ve actually said it’s ok if people misgender them because people just weren’t using the correct pronouns for them.

janelle monae had to come out twice for people to finally get the hint.

i bet you didn’t know kehlani has been out as nonbinary and using they/them pronouns since 2020.

ezra miller came out in 2018, using exclusively they/them pronouns. but you wouldn’t know that from looking up their name on google as people constantly refer to them, still, with he/him pronouns.

miley cyrus has been out as genderfluid since 2015.

enbyphobia and exorsexism are real and alive, and one of the most hurtful forms of discrimination is just being flat out ignored completely, like you don’t even exist. it’s hard to get representation and resources when nobody knows you exist.
