I was about to ask if Cleo couldn't help with teaching Tilly more stuff ...but then I remembered a tiny little detail from canon that Cleo set Tilly on fire in session 2 or 3 so....yeeeeah that's a N O P E idea right there

And staying clear of Grian, and distrusting anything Grumbot (which is completely resonable) begs the question...who found Tilly first? Xisuma, Pearl while she was dealing with Grians chest-abomanition (you cant call that a monster anymore), Gem that was just happily hummimg and noticing someone new crossing onto the world?

The answer is that Tilly found Pearl as when she was turned into a human, she kept the ability to find her owner anywhere in the world and Hermit Pearls ID was so similar to DLAU Pearl that it transitioned to Hermit Pearl so all she did was follow the scent to a new home

Tilly originally comes from the Dl Server or at least a alternative variation however it is not very different other then small changes like item/mob spawns and a small glitch in the coding that activated around the time Tilly died for a second time (this was also different from the time line however it was still to lava) this caused her to change into a dog hybrid or so people believe as it turns out the glitch had affected Tilly after her first death and had turned her into some kind of soul snatcher or a creature that consumes souls of mobs and even players so in reality Tilly is only part dog hybrid and the rest is soul stealer. So Tilly went from Pearls dog to her daughter after Tilly got Pearls last name, so yeah, now there was a child in a death game.

Fact about Tilly and fear she does feel immense fear yet she is very good at hiding it and if she looks scared than she has felt far more fear than normal. Another fact is that she has Zuesophobia or fear of god due to a certain admin before Xisuma

5AM Pearl exists on Hermitcraft in the Not Dog AU. However, it is not Pearl gone full on crazy. Really, it is just Pearl when she is too tired for shit. Pearls body even slightly alters to a more monochromatic color scheme with her skin turning pale grey instead of the normal pale sandy color it normally is and her hair turning a dirt brown. Her lava lamp skin alters to a grayish red instead of the blue. And she is way too tired to be neutral with the hermits sht just asks Scar and how he was thrown across the entire area of scar land after his 20th Scar Monster. Only four things can stop her those being Tilly and Gem and Impulse, a full 3 bowls of soup(once was two but now it is three with Tilly), killing her (good luck with that), and the people who pissed her off apologizing to her.
