pairing. single dad! jimin x female teacher! reader
synopsis. jimin was a single dad of three and one unfortunate mishap caused him to meet you: his best friend’s coworker and daughter’s teacher. will feelings of petty loathing develop into something more?
genre/prompt. fluff, angst
word count. 4.7k
content. nothing bad besides some cursing
writer’s note. I finally managed to write this part omg 😭😭😭 This part came out a hell of a lot long after the first, but I hope you enjoy it nonetheless! I’m a student so finding time to write os really hard. I made time and finished this at 23:47 so really I should go to sleep now🚶♂️🚶♂️🚶♂️Hope you like it! If you read the original texts, then there will be a lot of changes since I can like write better than I used to 2 years ago, not to toot my own horn or anything💀💀Anyways this is getting long, so last thing. Remember that Jimin calls his daughter terms of endearment in Korean, a.k.a words in Korean are bolded. That’s all. Thank u :)
parts. one / two / three

strawberry blond | pjm.

pairing. jimin x female! reader
genre/prompt. jimin takes a lot of photos; established relationship
word count. 1.3k
content. some mature language I guess but other than that its just cute married fluff with shy lil minnie!!
synopsis. You always wondered what was in those photo albums, but he was willing to let you into his world at his own pace.
writer’s note. written for the BTS Ghostie Writers Net’s writing bingo! this was the easiest prompt to come up with acc but it’s my favorite :)) I listened to strawberry blond by mitski while writing this!
-o-
Your ears perked up at the sound of a camera shutter, the book you were holding releasing you from its firm grasp on your consciousness. You were so immersed in your reading you didn’t even notice the dip in the mattress before the shutter went off. Looking up from your momentary source of joy you look at the culprit, your permanent source of joy, the blond boy with a glinting silver wedding band on his ring finger. He slowly lowered his camera, a pretty peach blush spreading across his cheeks as he found out he got caught. His eyes avoided your gaze as he waited for the photo to print out of the polaroid, a small smile now the companion of his deepening blush. He was always so damn adorable, you nearly had to stop yourself from cooing at his actions most of the time. Despite being married for 3 years after an 8-year relationship, he still was bashful when it came to romantic gestures. Banter and skinship? Fine, didn’t affect him whatsoever. Now, saying romantically cheesy things and holding hands in public? Absolutely not-- he’d overheat from how red his face gets from those things. He was always like that, although it was worse when you both started dating. He’s more comfortable now, initiating rather than reacting, which was something you were glad about. He was comfortable enough with you to seek those things rather than hope you do them.
You grinned at his retreating form as he went to the other side of what will be the bedroom of your apartment. You watched intently as he opened one of his two precious boxes with “PARK JIMIN” scribbled on messily with Sharpie. He had mentioned those two boxes were where he kept all his printed out pictures and polaroids taken as well as adding a “please don’t open them, my love” into the mix as usual. He stashed the picture he just had taken of you away tenderly in one of the countless photo albums of Polaroids and photographs he kept, however this one looked different from far away. Definitely far more expensive than the others he buys, but its not like you’ll pry about it. He was very sensitive about his photographs, so he was practically the only one who was allowed to look at his still memories and you were okay with that. There’s no use in making someone you’ve spend most of your life and hopefully all of your future with uncomfortable. He had always been into photographing things he found “beautiful and worth remembering”, in his own words. Even during elementary where you’d both met he had disposable cameras which he took pictures of different things at recess that caught his eye and of both you and him as well as his other friends. After getting his first Polaroid camera for his 12th birthday, they’d been inseparable ever since. You stretched, now fully detached from the book in your sheet-covered lap.
Your back was against the wall for what felt like hours as you both didn’t have any furniture yet, causing your back to be stiffer than it would normally. You’d insisted on buying new furniture to signal a new start in your lives after moving from the apartment you both lived in for most of your relationship, but didn’t account for the delivery date and the move-in date, which left you with just a mattress against the floor and a bedside table your husband vehemently refused to get rid of. Something about bro-code and not being able to throw away something his bros got him or whatever. Beats you, it’s not like it was an ugly design or color. Just a plain orange wood IKEA bedside table that’s probably in thousands of aesthetic pictures online out there. A polaroid he took of you last night laid on the same table and your cheeks suddenly heat up at the image. He took it while your eyes were closed in the climax of uh… intimate affairs. Yeah, that. He never left his pictures out in the open like that though, so you spoke up.
Your “hey, love?” was met with a hum from the blond man, his back still to you as he put the special-looking album and the other albums gingerly back into their box.
“You forgot one…from… last night,” you ended the statement in a whisper, the lewd image making your confidence fade, demeanor reminiscent to how your own husband was a few minutes ago. You took the photograph in your hand and held it out for him to take. When he turned around and saw your hand, a flash of recognition went through his face. A mischievous smirk carved itself into his usually timid face and he stuffed his hands into his short’s pockets. He was usually the shy and reserved one, however, when you showed his usual qualities it triggered cocky and sadistic Park Jimin to make an appearance. Bastard was taking pleasure in your embarrassment. You rolled your eyes and waved the picture in his direction. Weirdly enough, his demeanor never faltered. He’d always fussed over putting them away and keeping them stored safely, away from prying eyes, but why was this clearly intimate picture any different?
“I’d like to hang that one up, actually. Hmm… let’s see… should I put it right above the bed? Maybe put it at the back of my phone? I’d like to stare at it as often as I can,” he teased, feigning a thoughtful expression as he trailed off. Your whine of response caused his smirk only to widen. Your brain finally caught up to the situation and your eyebrows furrowed. Now this was new. He never did that… He’d store all his pictures without wanting anyone to see them even before the start of your relationship. The pictures he took were always too precious to him for anyone else to see, too personal, he’d said often when anyone did ask. Your clear bafflement showed on your face as your head automatically tilted in question. He seemed to take notice and understand why you were confused rather than annoyed. His expression finally faltered slightly, the smirk falling from his lips only to be replaced by a small smile and a soft flush on his cheeks once more
“I’ve um… thought about it… for a while. Since we got married, actually. I want...” he trailed off, his voice faltering. He closed his eyes and took a deep breath before continuing once again. “I want to show you all of my photo albums and the pictures I’ve taken… if you’d like? I want you to well... know all of me.” His voice trailed off at the end as he scratched the back of his neck.
You were left absolutely stunned. The situation you were suddenly thrust into had you completely taken aback. You knew how much his still memories meant to him and for you to be allowed to view them—to be the first known person besides him to view all of them in their entirety—it made your eyes water. It warmed your heart that he would trust you so much as to see even the deepest part of him he wished no one to see. It was a big step for him emotionally and the fact that he’s taking it made you just so damn happy. Your silence wasn’t mistaken, though. The lifetime you’d spent knowing each other gave him the ability to read you as though you were a book at the library. He knew how touched you felt and it only caused his blush to darken slightly. He knows what he’s going to show you. He loves taking pictures-- loves taking pictures of you. You’ll get to see how happy you make him. You’ll get to see exactly what he thought when those pictures were taken through the scribbles and dates on them. You would finally get a glimpse into the mind he had sealed away for protection. With a smile and nod, you accepted this wonderful change to your life.

☀️ BGW BINGO BASH ☀️

Welcome to BTS Ghostie Writers Net’s first writing bingo! We are pleased to announce that this bingo will be open to everyone, not just network members. However, members do get additional benefits (listed below), so please feel free to apply for the network if you wish to receive those advantages.
How to apply for the bingo:
Reblog this post.
Follow the network.
Fill out the form.
Application Deadline: May 15, 2020 at 12PM KST
What is a writing bingo?
Each writer is given a 3 x 3 bingo card with a list of random tropes, AUs, or prompts. Participants try to achieve “bingo” by using the prompts given on their cards.
How do you win the bingo?
Participants complete the challenge if they are able to use three prompts in a row. This can be horizontal, vertical, or diagonal. Black-outs (i.e. completing the card) will get to have a special promotion on the network’s front page.
What are the rules for the bingo?
⇢ Each fic must be at least 500 words.
⇢ Authors must make sure to clearly state which prompt/AU they are using somewhere on their post.
⇢ The prompt/AU must be the main focus of the fic.
⇢ SFW and NSFW fics will be accepted; however, please make sure to follow the same rules that we have for our members on how to format your fics. It is important that you include any warnings and utilize the “read more” option when needed.
⇢ All pieces must be original (ex: no continuations of series that have previously been posted; sequel series/drabble series connected to previously posted works may be considered).
⇢ Tag for the bingo is #btsghostiebingo to get your fics reblogged by the network.
⇢ Make sure that you have your messages open so that the admins can send your bingo card.
⇢ Non-members can only change their card once.
⇢ There will be a masterlist compiled with everyone’s work!
What are the benefits for being a member of the network?
⇢ You will be allowed three bingo card switches.
⇢ You will be allotted additional time to complete the bingo challenge.
Challenge deadlines:
August 16, 2020 at 12PM KST (for members)
July 30, 2020 at 12PM KST (for non-members)
We hope to see you guys apply! We would love to see what sort of fics your creative minds will produce. During these harsh and lonely times, it might be a good idea to utilize this time to try something new. As we are a network dedicated to writers who find it difficult to find the time/energy to write, this is our way of giving ourselves that little push to try and spark our writing juices.
Good luck and see you all very soon!
Love,
Your friendly neighborhood ghosties 👻

Hey folks, this is not your typical post about incorrect quotes.
I want to address a serious issue today, and most of you probably know what’s been going on in the US.
The killing of George Floyd started another serious and necessary debate on Police brutality in the states. (And I think not just there. Every country is affected in some way or another.)
My heart doesn’t ache, no. My heart is bleeding and crying out of pain about what has been going on for days now. What people have been going through for years and years. This is not the first case of police brutality against POC, nor the second, and it probably isn’t the last one.
It happened so many times already that I can’t count them all. Our world has lost so many beautiful souls to this never-ending issue. Additionally to this, we lost so many brothers and sisters of color who were part of the LGBTQ+ community too. Even though it is pride month, I can’t enjoy and celebrate it as much as I want to.
But now is the time to act. Now more than ever! We all have a voice, and I’m sure as hell using mine. And I want you to do the same.
40 Ways you can help right now shows you different techniques and approaches to support the #blacklivesmatter movement in various forms.
Everyone’s able to do something. Even if you don’t have the money to donate, or you’re not from the US, share articles, draw attention to it in some way. Being silent about this puts you on the side of the offenders.
I understand that I will never understand. However, I stand with all of you!!! Credit goes to @sfbucketlist on instagram for these 40 ways you can help right now.

they’re really always bickering
ways to help protestors if you are unable to protest
everybody has to do their part. as a reference, this was posted on 1 june 2020. if any links are broken or direct to a place they should not, please feel free to add on with corrections. if there is new information with better knowledge, please feel free to share. thank you.
1. donate
do not donate to shaun king. he has repeatedly collected money to “support” black people, but no one knows where the money is.
BAIL FUNDS (ALPHABETICAL ORDER; NOT A COMPREHENSIVE LIST)
note: washington dc and new jersey have cashless bail systems.
bail fund google doc (also includes lawyers for protestors)
national bail fund network (directory of community bail funds)
community bail funds masterpost by @keplercryptids
resistance funds (google sheets; lists bail funds around the country)
nationwide bail funds (split a donation to the bail funds listed on the linked page with a single transaction)
atlanta bail fund
brooklyn bail fund
colorado freedom fund
columbus freedom fund
houston chapter of black lives matter
liberty fund (nyc based; focuses services on people from low-income communities)
los angeles freedom fund
louisville community fund
massachusetts bail fund
minnesota freedom fund (as of may 30, 2020, they are encouraging people to donate elsewhere since they have raised enough money; as of may 29, 2020, they do not have a venmo, as some fraudulent accounts have been claiming, source)
philadelphia bail out fund
richmond bail fund
MORE PLACES TO DONATE
note: more links are listed in the masterposts below.
northstar health collective (healthcare and medical aid for people on the front lines)
reclaim the block (aims to redistribute police funding to help the minneapolis community)
twin cities dsa (provides fresh groceries and hot meals to people in minneapolis)
2. educate yourself
it isn’t enough to sign petitions and reblog/retweet/etc. nonblack people, including people of color, owe it to black people to educate themselves and correct themselves and the people around them on anti-blackness.
note: more links are in the masterposts linked below.
resources and tools regarding racism and anti-blackness (google sheets compilation)
readings on society, racism, the prison system, etc. (twitter thread)
“where do we go after ferguson?” by michael eric dyson
official black lives matter website
3. give out supplies to protestors
people need supplies to protest safely, and even if they bring supplies with them, they can often run out. if you’re able, stock up and hand them out to people protesting. for more supplies to donate, see the “george floyd action” google docs link in section 5.
water bottles (dehydration and heatstroke are not things people should have to deal with alongside bastard cops. if the police in your area are particularly violent or known to use tear gas, get the ones with the sports cap/suction-thing/etc so people can use them as emergency eye-flushes.)
snacks (make sure to take into account that people have allergies of all sorts. foods will have a little label that says “may contain” and then list any potential allergens. write the allergens on the ziploc (or any container you use) in permanent marker, or better yet, write the snacks included in the pack.)
masks (don’t forget there’s still a pandemic going on. also it will aid in deterring facial recognition when the police try to track down protestors, also part two, if the cops use tear gas, wearing a mask (with the combination of a scarf or bandana) will lessen the adverse effects. lessen, not stop.)
bandanas, scarves, etc. and goggles (ski goggles, swimming goggles, etc.) (see above for explanation on the scarves. same goes for the goggles. anti–tear gas and anti–facial recognition.)
clean shirts (for people who are heavily gassed. also helps deter recognition through clothing.)
wound care supplies (band-aids, packets of neosporin packets or a similar antibiotic, alcohol wipes, etc.; if you can, decant bactine into those little travel bottles.)
a sharpie or another type of marker (for writing bail numbers or emergency contacts on arms, hands, etc. it’s not enough to have your city’s bail fund number stored on your phone; the police won’t give it to you to look it up. give people a marker so they can write it down, preferably not washable so it isn’t easily removed.)
IMPORTANT: KNOWING FIRST AID
tear gas: if you’re hit, get out as fast and as soon as you can. take anyone you can with you. the longer you’re in the gas, the harder it will be for you to see, and it can irritate your airways, making it hard to breathe. if you’re hit, don’t run; it’ll only make things worse on your lungs. when you leave the area, take a cold shower. don’t use hot water (it will only reactivate the agent); don’t bathe (it will only spread the CS around). (source 1) (source 2) (cdc fact sheet on tear gas)
move them to a clean and ventilated area where it’s as safe as possible.
ask them if they’re wearing contact lenses. have them remove it. if they’re wearing glasses, rinse it with water.
solution of half liquid antacid, half water. spray from the inside going out, with the head tilted back and slightly towards the side being rinsed. if they say it’s okay, open the eye slightly while doing this. (source)
bullet wounds: the most important thing is to stop the bleeding. be sure to check for an exit wound and cover that as well. treat both wounds, but treat the worse one first.
stop the bleed (youtube video by uc san diego health)
first aid in active shooting scenarios
making a tourniquet (a commercial tourniquet is best, but improvised ones can work as well if done properly; the most important things to remember is that tourniquets are for limb injuries and are not meant for the head or torso and that they have to be very tightly wound on the injury.)
how to apply pressure dressings
miscellaneous
adult cpr tutorial (youtube video by cincinnati children’s; think of “staying alive” by the beegees or “uptown funk”)
4. be a source of information
be responsible with this. people’s lives are at stake. that being said, the media is a fucking joke and the best way to get accurate information in a grassroots rebellion is amongst ourselves. record everything, but if you are going to share any information at all, be sure to blur people’s faces.

NUMBERS TO CALL FOR ARRESTED PROTESTORS (ALPHABETICAL ORDER; SOURCES LINKED TO THE NUMBER)
remember to keep phones OFF unless absolutely necessary. cell phone towers, stingrays, location notifs can all be used to track you and other protestors. don’t fuck around. if your phone must be on, keep it on airplane mode as often as possible and only communicate using encrypted methods. no, snapchat doesn’t count. (a twitter thread on stingrays, for those interested)

also, if you’re protesting, change your passcode. make it at least 11 characters long and don’t use facial/thumb recognition.
