For those of you who need a reason to live today

A while back one of my friends found out about my struggles with depression. And he told me there are always things to live for. I knew that already, but sometimes you need a reminder. So I made a list.

Live for staying in bed for five more minutes in the morning. Live for the stars. Live for winter sunrises. Live for summer sunsets. Live for homemade lemonade. Live for baking cookies. Live for writing. Live for reading. Live for hot chocolate. Live for bare winter trees. Live for energetic autumn leaves. Live for baggy hoodies. Live for listening to music. Live for spinning so fast you can’t breathe. Live for skinning your knees and feeling the pain and feeling connected to life. Live for bruises from a playful fight.
