ok actually as an astronomy nerd, pluto is a dwarf planet but our moon is actually large enough that we REALLY should be classified as a binary planet system, and in fact a lot of people refer to us as earth-luna for thst reason. the moons fucking massive

Literally!!! I love the concept of us being in a binary system instead like we'd count! And idk its kind of romantic, the way so many myths and cultures on earth hold the moon as something so greatly important and to finally have that scientifically recognized in such a way. Idk
