(My take on) Fen’Harel 

I have been holding off on uploading this until I got spoiler permission from somebody but it is okay now. 

For every Templar active ability (meaning not a passive upgrade), there is a mage spell that does the exact same thing or has the same end result. There are zero (0) reasons for templars to exist when mages are fully capable and arguably even better suited to control other mages.

TEVINTER MAGE FIGHT CLUB

The disappointingly short confrontation with Danarius left me thirsty for more smug slaving Magisters to stomp. From which came the idea: Tevinter is based on the Roman Empire, it stands to reason there’s a coliseum - slaves made to fight Qunari POWs, freedmen fighting monsters for coin and glory, mages against each other to test their skill. Even if fights are illegal and they’re held in some skeevy magister’s basement Fight Club style, they exist ok just follow me here. And as a mage that killed the Arishok, Hawke suddenly becomes MVP status among the Tevinter mages and winds up pulled into one of these dens of sin, and does what Hawke does best. Basically I hunger for Mark of the Assassin Minrathous Edition
