Goretober is approaching again quickly.. Here was Day 2 from last year that I didn't post!
“Ok so we’ve all agreed not to do XYZ because it makes several alters in the system uncomfortable.”
That one alter:
me to me: you stress me out
S/O to systems who experience things not usually talked about or fakeclaimed
You split multiple alters at once or get alter booms
You communicate well with alters or can “go get” alters
You have in-system relationships
You have hundreds of alters (bonus points if they’re introjects)
You and your partner system have a lot of sourcemates/get introjects from the same source
You don’t relate to most systems expiriences.
The only similar thing amongst systems is we all have trauma. No two systems are the same. You are valid, you didn’t choose to have a system, and you deserve respect.
BTW these are all things we, a prof dx’d system, personally experience.
