Imogen is actually such important “annoying girl” rep.

She’s loud, feminine, and dresses up every day. She’s touchy, clingy, and she’ll make a scene. She can be flaky, dramatic, and put her foot in her mouth. But she’s also big-hearted, enthusiastic, supportive, and you KNOW she gives the best hugs.

And she deserves love and respect and community just as much as everyone else in the show.

I’m always worried about being “too much.” I think a lot of women and queer people are. To me, Imogen represents that even when you need to work on yourself, even when you’ve hurt people, even when you say embarrassing things, you’re not “too much.” Your mistakes are just louder because you’re louder. And that’s okay.

You’re just a human being and a probably a pretty good human being at that.
