El accuses him of never saying it. He’s genuinely so confident when he says that he does. Because it’s true. He’s been saying he is in love with her since the damn first season. His each action was him exposing himself and his true feelings. El really thought he could ever fall out of love with her. When that’s not true, it’s unthinkable. He fell in love since he first laid his eyes on her and never stopped. Mike’s never gonna stop. He admitted he feels like his life started the day they found her in the woods. That’s how important she is to him. She made his life better. After his confession their bond and love and relationship will grow stronger. They are soulmates tethered for eternity. I think that’s beautiful.

the fact that outside of the stranger things Fandom, mileven is actually a very underrated couple. It kind of amazes me too because you have these two young kids who met in the woods and fell in love. One is a young girl, a special girl who has never felt any love in her life and was quite literally raised in a lab while the other is a boy who doesn't feel like he fits in with the rest. These are not normal circumstances. Together they created in my opinion the best love story ever. I really don't understand why these two are not talked about more or don't get as much attention as other couples. Like mike is definitely one of the best boyfriends ever to exist and el is just one of the best and most tragic female heroes. Who wouldn't want mike as a boyfriend? He fell in love at 12 years old, he's devoted, he's committed, he's very mature for his age. He's an expert strategist, he's faithful and loving and protective. He's a soft puppy for El. El is also loving and protective, she's a fighter, she will do anything for her loved ones and even die for them which she has done. If you compare them to couples like gossip girl or other shows like that, these two kids are very healthy. I mean, mike was committed to El throughout the whole show, he never looks or talks about other girls, as many people call him, he's el-sexual. Anyway this is just my opinion, but mileven is really underrated in the world of tv couples and they deserve better.
