1) the kids had a weathered version of his journal.

2) they talked about a grunckle Stan ( most likely a reference to Stanley being their grumpy uncle from the future)

3) they are trying to fix some sort of device.

4) that Mabel kid is not normal and definitely takes after Bill while the dipper kid is also not normal but takes more after him.

5) they tend to disappear quickly and without notice, reappearing maybe an hour later. Obviously they are testing their powers from Bill ( they aren't they are trying to fix the time tape)

He's taking notes they're form the future... I reconnect with Stanley if they know him... Oh god they're form the future...I don't get back with Bill do I?... DO I?

Ford tracking down Stan and calling him to gravity falls early because the kids know him and he's panicking and can recognise yeah he needs help finding his kids with magic powers and he needs someone here to punch him if he tries getting back with Bill, he'll find a paradox so the kids stay he'll figure it out.

Stan gets a very confusing call and is like '...welp my brothers gone insane... ok gotta to get to Oregon cause my brothers talking and time travel and triangles'

Fiddleford went back after the incident trying one last time to warn Ford but instead they got into a fight actives the portal get sucked in and you know the rest.
