Can you imagine how the clones' speech patterns change once they are out of Kamino? Not just the slang they use, but in general how they speak. At some point you can start to differ the different battalions based on their speech. This is even more notable when it comes to the Commanders or other clones who deal more closely with their generals. Rex is distraught when he realises that he sounds like a teenager. Cody just proceeds to sound even more like a wisened old Commander despite being the middle child. Fox sounds like a tired retail manager trying to calm down a Karen.

The hill I want to die on: shig is technically a tea in the same way as rooibos (one example; which isn’t a tea bush, but a pea plant) which means that actually Mandalore has tea and they probably have a million blends they mix or make themselves and Obi-Wan should NOT be suffering to find ‘tea’ by another name within the company of Mandalorians.

Now, I know someone who v much hates rooibos so like. Yeah. Maybe he’ll hate it. But. It’s not a tea desert 🤷‍♀️

Consider, for those of you ‘Obi-Wan forgets to eat’ lovers out there: they still drag him down to the cafeteria and let him do his paperwork the whole time while various clones keep hand feeding him bite sized foods the whole time. Cody is actually not the one to start it, Waxer and Boil were, but he uses the trick even when he’s alone with Obi-Wan now. Obi-Wan’s pretty oblivious and his faves are usually diced meats and anything cheesy.

The first time Anakin walks in to see it goin on, the clones expect him to be offended, only for him to look at them in absolute awe and ask how they did it. He’s enchanted. He watches the whole thing. Then he turns to Rex and asks him why he doesn’t do that to him, and Rex just sighs and says he’s sure Anakin will accidentally bite a finger off, but he can try. It’s cute. Ahsoka opens her mouth to ask but Rex just glared at her and says he’s not getting mauled to death while trying to hand her raw meat.

They end up trying it for her with chopsticks, and yes, she did accidentally snap one one time.

Buddy: *grabs a handful of coffee beans and pops them in his mouth*

Buddy: *grinds them with his teeth then pours an energy packet into his mouth*

Chase: Stop.

Buddy: *pours hot water in his mouth*

Chase: Get out of my coffee shop.
