Damm, in the puppet show ending you can actually see some foreshadowing on the crew. For the other timelines.

"No, I was thinking about stuff"

Gunther was already planning for the taking over.

"We need a little change of management here."

"Oh, I think your arm fell off there"

Burt's arm fell off because he started putting his brain into the computer. Or because of puppet comedy.

"I merged my psyche with the computer"

"but I'm working on something very special."

Celci is going down the mad doctor train and already working on the cryo pod to cryogenicly freeze the ship.

"I'm gonna put the ship in stasis, Captain."
