after some research i've come to the conclusion that ESMVs (at least that's what they're called) are the precursor to the idea of using comics for MVs (or so called CMVs)

i'm surprised by the sheer amount of ES content despite being multiple years out of date

like, not even dubs nor remakes (we already know of Winter Panda and Tomorrow Light), but actual content with the original cast of the series

like you're telling me there's this one dude who has been doing comic MVs (i didn't even know comic MVs are a thing) for like multiple years and only has seemingly "stopped" recently

you've got a guy who's making up ES adventures (literally in the name)

a guy who's LITERALLY TRYING TO MAKE A FULL ES ANIMATION SERIES

and there's probably a fancy discord server somewhere i don't know the existence of, or other channels that i simply have not found yet

heck, i wouldn't be surprised if i just go up to ao3 right now and there's an ES fic that was made a month ago

in fact i'm doing that right now, and holy heck there are AUs for this story?

oh and a pretty recent fanfic too, did not think some people still ship them but hey i support all ships (except questionable ones)

then again, this is a fandom, and fandoms don't ever die. we've seen that proven time and time again.

makes me question if i should write something. i mean, this is the first time in a while that so many ideas popped into my head at the same time.
