Here are all the refs of Joseph and his adopted children! Joseph Panther is the main protagonist of THE MASQUERADE and the story will follow him as it unfolds. I hope these refs will give you enough info and insight into each character, and allow you to get a sense of their personalities and motivations. 

The ‘Maria’ some of them speak of is the deity that they worship- she was a Uniseeclops woman back in the ancient times when all the species were separated. She boldly went out and shared her food with some of the other species. which spurred some to start sharing too, which eventually led to all the species learning to live together comfortably. Some choose to worship her like a God, believing that she holds the key to all ‘good spirits’ and driving out the ‘bad spirits’, but some just choose to live by her example without worship. The Panther family are some of those who see her as a deity.
