I Didnt Have A Regular Period For Years Because I Was Very Sick. I Dont Like Cramps Ofc, But My Period
I didn’t have a regular period for years because I was very sick. I don’t like cramps ofc, but my period is my body telling me I’m healthy. I love it. I think it’s wonderful. Too many women tell me they wished they could’ve skipped their period for as long as I did, and honestly it’s just sad and disheartening. I’m with you. You don’t have to hate your period. It’s not a death sentence, it’s a celebration of your life.
I don’t begrudge women who don’t like their period, but I do find it a little aggravating when I’m not believed that I don’t hate my period. no, not even when I’m in pain. no, not even when I make a mess. it’s just like, whatever to me. and I know some women have just the worst periods imaginable, like truly debilitating. I’m lucky I don’t have that, I probably have the most normal period possible all things considered. and still I’m just not believed. it’s assumed you hate having a period and hate getting it and it makes you feel useless and disgusting. and that you’re just being annoying on purpose when you say “eh I don’t mind it. It’s not so bad.” you really don’t have to hate it, it’s not a prerequisite. you’re not crazy if you don’t hate it. it’s like any of my other bodily functions and frankly some of those other ones suck worse and happen more often so. you know. that’s how I see it.

imagine the headaches we would save if people could just sit in comfort with the idea that being gay is normal and kinda boring
kinda wish matt walsh would keel over. he is so annoying
saw a post today where terfs were saying that there’s a higher percentage of trans women in prison than in the general population and that’s proof trans women are “predatory”. ah yes, and the higher percentage of homeless LGBT youth is because gay children are bad at real estate! you are VERY intelligent. /s
