god forbid a girl be a little controversial in her lifetime
While I nodded, nearly napping, suddenly there came a slapping,
As of some one gently flapping, flapping at my chamber door.
“’Tis some fairy,” I muttered, “slapping at my chamber door—
Only this and nothing more.”

Thank you so much for your comprehensive and thought-provoking response. You’re honestly incredibly intelligent and humble, and reading your response was affirming, thought-provoking, and refreshing. Can you say more about why you think saying you can change your biological sex is *immoral,* as you put it? Thank you!
Hi hi! I’m glad that response was meaningful for you! I hope this one will provide something similar.
It’s immoral to tell someone they can change their biological sex because it’s a lie. It’s cruel to give someone that hope. To tell them that they can escape the pain and anguish they feel and trade it out for becoming their ‘true self’.
I know many women in this space are familiar with this promise. Happiness is right around the corner, right within grasp. It’s done with synthetic hormones and surgeries, and soon you won’t be miserable anymore. You can live life the way everyone else seems to: happily, with contentment.
There are a number of tragic anecdotes I could share, but those are not my stories to tell, nor are they statistics. Though I do think those should go hand in hand to tell a full story. Put the humanity in the numbers and vis versa.
The point is this: be truthful and earnest in all that you do. Honesty is the greatest kindness in this world. Being deceived leads to distrust in the people around you, leads to solitude and isolation. That is the last thing anybody needs. Community is the birthplace of love, and trust is woven in through that.
I sound like a total hippie running my mouth. What’s new lol. Peace and love, dude :)
