I’ve been wanting to do another tiny drawing to finish out my locket, and the idea of a portrait of the future of Al and Husk’s little family in my RadioHusk AU, “The Heart’s Proximity” seemed like a fun idea. I started making some doodles to come up with ideas

The ideas started out fairly serious but quickly devolved into less formal and even downright goofy poses. Here’s one that I liked enough to redraw, with the boys not quite ready to pose just yet

Human-ish version of Husker as a shady old man who still has a soft spot for Alastor. HC that he and the Radio Demon where drinking buddies while Husk was still an overlord — listening to Alastor rant when he’s bitterly upset, they share some drunken hugs, ear rubs 😽. On one such evening Alastor unintentionally reveals his secret, while sober he decides that he has no choice but to take Husk’s soul to keep him silent/on a leash…ruins their friendship/relationship this way as it is difficult to see each other as equals rather than master and slave, regret and resentment on both sides…
