I'd bet good money that if Katie Ledecky started identifying as trans and competing against men in the Olympics, TRAs would change their minds pretty fast about pushing for legislation allowing trans people on opposite sex sports teams. I've heard there are men who won't even train in the same pool as her because she is so fast that it's intimidating.

If you are looking for 'attention seeking bullies', you might want to check out the 2 trans women who are trying to edge women out of their own sports team, and took home 15 Connecticut Women's state championship titles in track and field for 3 years in a row (titles typically held by 9 or 10 different women). Terfs seething and coping with Elliot Page having good surgery results and being finally happy with his body is making my day. Remember everyone, Terfs are like liches that feed on hate and despair. Just a bunch of attention-seeking bullies. Their number one goal above anything is to put trans people down and damage their mental health in any way possible. If you're trans, every time you smile is a tiny victory in its own right. Trans happiness is the most potent weapon against transphobia. Just living your life without a worry of what others may think of you will put terfs in a depressive state

The women’s 1,500 makes its Olympic debut in Tokyo, and it’s Ledecky’s strongest event. But getting to the final will require that she compete in the 200 and 1,500 preliminary heats in the same evening session, Then assuming she qualifies, the finals of both events are in the same session a day later.

"I would point out that the men do not have that double, so any male swimmer who wants to compete in all [the freestyle] events does not have to double,” Ledecky stated during a Team USA Media Summit in April.
