When I Saw The Story Today In The News, I Had To Stop What I Was Doing And Call My Mom About It. I Loved

When I saw the story today in the news, I had to stop what I was doing and call my mom about it. I loved the very hungry caterpillar as a child. RIP Eric Carle, your illustrations live on.

Depends on what you mean. A family I worked for had geese (and lots of other animals) and they taught me to just pick up the goose if it tried to attack me. And this was like, a giant white goose out of a storybook. But if it was a wild goose... I'd lose that fight.

Ladies this is important- do you think you could realistically fight a goose and win?

do you know any good radfem podcasts or youtubers? i'm following vanessa wokey and "actual feminism presents" but those two seem to be the only ones.... i've tried to listen to women who market themselves as feminists but they're all liberal at best...🥲

sure! unfortunately vanessa vokey has fallen into some conservative and racist rhetoric so i wouldn’t say that she’s a good representation of radical feminism--plus she’s gender critical at best. i was really disappointed when i found that out.

but there are several great radfem youtubers that i would recommend!

radical responses is my absolute favorite

you’re kiddin’ right is also really great. she posts pretty much every day and is middle-aged so i really appreciate her perspective

kathleen may has excellent perspectives and explanations of radical feminism

magdalen berns sadly passed away a couple years ago from brain cancer, but her videos are still up. she’s been a pioneering force for radical feminist discussion online and a huge inspiration for a lot of us.

feminist heretics has a lot of readings of radical feminist literature

radical ramblings talks about a wide variety of radical feminist issues and seems really smart and knowledgeable

the women’s liberation front channel has a lot of panel talks and presentations

peachyoghurt genderfree is another older woman who has really great videos. she doesn’t update super often but when she does it’s always great

finding good radical feminist podcasts has been more difficult. i was a big fan of adult human female but it’s been about a year since she updated and the majority of her podcasts were taken down :( there’s still a few left up though and they’re worth a listen

i just recently found radical ray’s podcast and i haven’t listened to all of it yet but it’s great so far! she has a very calming voice too

hope that helps! 💕

Liberal feminism falls apart pretty quickly!

hi everyone. i keep seeing this brought up, and have even recently even experienced this in the past few days. two days ago, i made a post asking radfems why they started believing in radical feminism, and what made them become a radfem, because i was curious. immediately, i got many anons telling me several horrific things, and insulting me, etc etc.

so i just wanna ask you libfems, why is it so bad for someone like me to be curious about radical feminism? if you want me to hate something, i’d like to do my own research to really see what i’m supposed to be hating.

it’s honestly bizarre to me how two simple questions turned into getting hate. i wasn’t trying to fight anyone, i was trying to EDUCATE myself.

if it’s really as bad as you say it is, why is it so bad to research it? after all, in american schools we learn about nazi germany, and i’m pretty sure it doesn’t make anyone into nazis. (i’m using this as an example because many libfems compare radical feminism to nazism) unless it’s something that you guys know is true, and hate to admit it, in fear of being ridiculed?

and also, why do you guys think it’s appropriate to send hateful anons to someone you’re trying to “steer away” from radical feminism? don’t you think that might actually push someone into the direction of radical feminism? especially if you’re telling them that they’re getting trans women killed, calling them the c-word, and telling them to go choke on gc.

i’d genuinely like to know why libfems are okay with doing this stuff to innocent people.
