this has been done before except im specifically referencing this post

Grian throwing out one of his unfertilized eggs from a while ago and then later finding baby tubbo, who shares a lot of features with scar, in his trash next to a bunch of egg shell fragments and he gets hysterical thinking he just threw away his baby, logic not quite working in his panic and he calls scar in a panic saying “im an awful father!” And scar just being confused like what do you mean father and eventually everything gets sorted out but for a brief period of time grian being absolutely convinced that tubbo is his and scars biological child

pffftt oh my god- Love that it would be Grian to find Tubbo and being so upset and ashamed because he thinks it's their own he threw out-- Scar though being like super excited tho because omg they have an actual son now (even if it isnt biological doesnt matter) He's just happy to raise a kid with Grian <3
