On an acting performance pov, it would be amazing. Jensen would have a lot of fun with it, he never plays Dean being possessed. On a storyline pov, I'm not sure it's a good idea. I can see why they would bring him back ("we need the most powerful being we can have to try to bring Mary or Cas back or deal with the Nephilim, and since Chuck & Amara left"), but then what? Back to the Lucifer vs Michael thing? How would Dean expulse Michael?

I was watching SDCC videos with Andrew Dabb and he might have mentioned a certain angel coming back. Now I do hope it is Michael because I would LOVE to see Jensen play him. From Lucifers comments Michael is insane. I think this would be something Jensen can really sink his acting teeth into. I loved it when he played Demon Dean. There was a scene where he had such a menacing stare at Crowley it really made you think that Dean wasn’t Dean anymore. I do hope this happens but I’m not getting my hopes up to high. I’m sure anything that Jensen does he will give it his all.
