Honestly when Deuce first came out last year along with the other Heartslabyul guys my reaction was just like, “Oh, a bishie. Pfftt-- I fucking nearly died laughing at Deuce’s reaction when MC told him, “Actually the eggs never really were going to be chicks once they were turned like that.” 

HIS FACE WAS JUST COMPLETE AND UTTER SHOCK AND THE FACT THAT HE SINCERELY BELIEVED IT THROUGHOUT HIS WHOLE LIFE JUST ADDE TO HIS ADORABLE-NESS AND OMFG I’M NOW JUST RANTING ABOUT HOW MUCH I LOVE HIM ADKJDAJDLSAJDASLD

good morning I finally finished the overblot!riddle scene and

1) MAJOR epic mickey vibes

2) ace just weNT OFF omg. first he punched riddle (!) and then made some good points abt how children aren’t trophies for their parents and all that

but then he started on abt how it’s riddle’s fault that he hasn’t made any friends here bc he’s so kneedeep in his obsession with rules, basically insulted his mom, and called him a baby– then another student threw an egg at riddle in solidarity and like oKAY GUYS BUT RIDDLE IS A TICKING TIMEBOMB RIGHT NOW PLS DONT

3) but honestly crowley smh. he can’t stand there watching the anger build up and up and up in riddle, saying nothing but “rosehearts-kun! enough!” and then after riddle transforms, he exclaims how he can’t believe he let a student overblot in front of him– sir I’m sorry but ?? you did literally nothing lmao

4) also child!chenya’s voice IS THE CUTEST THING my baby 😭😭 I wasn’t expecting him to be so cute aaaa

and those silhouettes of them as kids 👁️ will they ever reveal the colored sprites bc,,, uwu–

Hahaha you guys ain’t alone there- I was still in the prologue when people were already posting about Overblot!Riddle and a handful were already at Overblot!Leona’s part sakdjsdjalsd (tho the main reason was because I was also translating in the middle of it all and spamming to my friend hahaha)

Ace radiates so much big dummy energies and I love it, but I was this close to screaming at him when he punched Riddle like, “omfg duuuudee, noooo, shuutt uuuppp, Riddle’s already ready to bust a cap here, stapppphhhh”

Deuce is big delinquent baby and I will fyt anyone who tries to make him cry

Actually, it gets worse.

In-game, you don’t even have to be a dorm leader in order to experience [overblot]; Crowley says in one of his dialogues in Chapter 1-24(iirc), “[Overblot] is the state that all mages must avoid at all costs.”

What that essentially means is that everyone and anyone, so long as they are able to use magic, can and will experience [overblot].

Additionally, in-universe, despite all the extensive research on [blot] throughout history, there is still little to no knowledge about it besides the fact that it is very toxic, and if it is too much and they go into [oveblot], it WILL hurt the mage. That’s why Trey was desperate to change Riddle back to normal as fast as possible back in Chapter 1-24.

Can someone please tell me how Riddle became dark?? Like, I found a playthrough on YouTube and he just goes NUTS and I don't know why!!! Someone pls tell me what happened to him 😭😭😭😭😭
