Personally I think the people complaining about the Percy Jackson show are boring like get the fuck together. Seriously. Like if y’all didn’t complain and bitch so much we would’ve gotten shadow and bone season three and the six of shows show. Maybe if you stop bitching we will actually get the rest of the series. For fucks sake it god damn season one maybe give the show some fucking grace. Y’all are just miserable and won’t be happy unless the show is exactly like how it is your head. Which it will never be. And also of course it won’t be exactly like the books that would be insane. What would be the point of watch the show it was the same as the books down to last fucking detail. Give it a fucking rest already and just go reread the books if you’re that fuck miserable because the rest of us would like to enjoying something for five god damn minutes!

not gonna lie the show thus far has felt like rick riordan just subtly rewriting his book the way he would do it now to better develop characters and relationships and such and personally i’m here for it because it means we get shit like the consensus song and medusa being a sympathetic villain because girl she was a victim !!

Is the necessity of get it right, to fit, to not disappoint. to want they to like you, to show that you cares but not know how. Will they like it? It will be too much? It will be enough? I will be the weird one again? I should've known.

guys i seriously haven’t been able to stop thinking about the candy scene

something about being a gifted kid and seeing myself in annabeth

something about spending my life reading and learning and becoming book smart and spending all of my time in school or studying or worrying about school work

something about going into the real world and feeling lost and unsure and completely out of my element but everyone still thinks i should be perfect because i’m the smart kid

something about not wanting them to be wrong, about WANTING so badly to be the perfect smart girl but being so unsure about how to please everyone

and seeing those struggles reflected in 12 year old annabeth, the same struggles 12 year old me had. even if it was literally seconds, even one tiny scene.

just. yeah. props to leah that scene felt soooo personal.
