So unfortunately l was told a little while ago that my grandmother has passed away. She was diagnosed with stomach cancer and she’s been fighting for the past few months since finding out her status. We didn’t have the closest relationship but that was still my grandma I loved her so much. I feel so heartbroken because I have some regrets when it comes to her. I promised her I was gonna take her out to eat and I never did. I said l was gonna spend time with her but I never did. I wish I knew our time together was running out l would made a bigger effort. Theirs no excuses and l feel like shit for it. It’s only a couple of days before Mother’s Day and I feel so bad for my mom l know she’s going through it right now. But looking at the bright side of things, she’s no longer in pain and she lived a very full life. She was just shy a few months of turning 70 years old. The times we did spend together I enjoyed and will cherish forever. She taught me how to ride a bike and we would watch Investigation Discovery. She’s the reason I have such an interest/obsession with mysteries. My thoughts are all over place but I do know that now she’s looking down at me and I’m gonna make her proud.
