Aaaahhhh!!! Finally I can show you guys what Jaydee has been busting their ass on for me since, like, December! I've only had Art done as a picrew or drawn by one person and I badly wanted more uh art of him. I love how Jaydee draws people and also they are very cool so I got a rare commission from them and you guys. You guys! They are really great to work with! Even after a set back that would have had me refunding a customer they kept going. But aaaahhh look at this! Best art of my trash son's hot husband! :)

this is the character sheet @razzek commissioned me to do for their character Art! (and that's Matthias in the polaroid being classy and subtle.) Razz and I worked together to get the details for Art right, including the pose for the fullbody pic (they had a couple of thumbnails to choose from so we could show his personality) and the style, color and texture of his hair. Usually the second portrait pic in the upper left corner is just a headshot, but Razz is a buddy and a champ for waiting so long for me to finish this, so I drew a fullbody of Matthias as well. You can see the full pic if you're a member of the Pa/treon.

(I'm aware that Art is a disembodied floating torso in the first pic, I wasn't super worried about cropping it because I was just going to shove it into the character sheet slot.)

if I recall right, Anne was pretty consistent in saying riders sit at the base of the neck, between the neck ridges. So not on the shoulders (which would put pressure on the wings and upper arms) but not right behind the skull. While I think they’re flexible, I don’t think they can reach their rider and it’s still going to take a bit of a throw. Especially since creatures in motion will go the direction their head is facing. You never see birds twisting their heads in flight, for example, because it would distort their flight path. I could see it being possible to train a dragon to do a head tilt to catch a thrown stone, but full neck bend seems very unlikely. And the bigger the dragon, the farther the throw, so the bronze riders especially must have really good throwing arms.

Everyone talks about everything but the fucking throwing arm riders must have. I mean, you're flying through the air at speed and you have to throw a rock so that your dragon can eat it out of the air. The throwing arm and the aim a bitch has got to have for that to consistently work under pressure- Baseball pitchers could never.
