Me: Gosh I’m tired I stayed up so late

Friend: Why?

Me: I had to wait until 1:00AM for my boyfriend to get online so we could finally talk for the day

Friend: Aww do you two live in different time zones?

Me: No. The chatroom with 707 doesn’t unlock until 1:00AM and I’m low on hourglasses to spend in case I miss it.

Every year during winter break, he and his family visit his mother’s parents’ bed-and-breakfast in Hokkaido. It’s also a tradition for his birthday (December 5)

He owns a classical men’s kimono which he wears to traditional festivals with his parents (and Bokuto)

I hc that he’s another rich boy, like Futakuchi and Yahaba, so once every two years or so, his family takes an international vacation. He’s been to Seoul, Shanghai, Tahiti, Paris, and New York City

He has a collection of flags for every new country that he visits

Sometimes he takes day trips to the beach with Bokuto, Kuroo, and Konoha. (Konoha is there for damage control).

His favorite Japanese holiday is Culture Day, which usually happens on or around November 3rd

I also hc that he devoutly practices Shintoism, so holidays related to his religious beliefs are the most important to him

He sends his grandparents origami cranes and other presents on September 19th every year, which is Respect for the Aged Day in Japan

But, of course, he likes celebrating the little days too that aren’t religious, like May 5th (Friendship Day, which he mostly celebrates with Bokuto) and August 8th (International Cat Day, which he celebrates with Nekoma and helps them throw a party for Yaku)

Birthdays are also important to him, especially his family and close friends. He gives them special homemade treats every year

When he’s not on vacation or going to a festival, he likes to stay in and watch cartoons with his younger siblings (I hc that he has two younger siblings, a brother and a sister). He treats himself to a big meal, whether he makes his own or goes out for it, especially after exams
