This monster model Illustration was inspired by Michaels’s iconic red jacket look in the video. When researching current menswear looks on the runway, I was struck by this piece by @maisonanggyhaif ‘s Fall/Winter 2017 look. The red leather military style jacket, studded belt and black leather pants all felt very reminiscent of the iconic Thriller look (with a modern take). "I was undocumented as a child in the US. There was no DACA back then for me and my two brothers, but in 1986 Congress passed and President Reagan signed into law the Immigration Reform and Control Act that allowed us to apply for permanent residency. No such pathway exists now and no immigration reform has occurred since. With DACA gone, it is up to Congress to finally enact legislation to create pathways for law-abiding residents of the US who lack documents but contribute greatly to this nation to gain legal recognition". This is a portrait of my friend @marceleaux and this is his story. Marcelo is the director of the Oberlin College center for learning, Education and research in the sciences. He came to America undocumented as a child with his parents from Ecuador. This is why programs like DACA and defending them is so important.
