Recidivsm - 𝐑𝐄𝐂𝐈𝐃𝐈𝐕𝐈𝐒𝐌.

I have a bunch of servers on Disc*rd that are just waiting to be used. (Along with some ideas that can be tied to them.) But I don’t think that I’m currently active enough to justify covertly going into the tags for partners.

Along the same lines of espionage — or at least, investigation — this is a reprise of an old plot I did, that unfortunately got scrapped before it reached its fullest potential. While the original version included supernatural elements, there was still an investigation to be had, and a girl that was just asking to be corrupted.

The original plot had my muse as a supernatural hunter - posing as a federal agent - who was looking into a recent number of disappearances. The connective tissue? They were all members of the same church. (I can’t remember exactly which monster was chosen for the plot, but honestly, a lot of them would fit.) His first idea upon driving into town is to speak with the head pastor/preacher of the church. And in the time he spends talking to him, he’s introduced to his super attractive daughter, who is more than happy to help on the case as well. Not to mention she shares his feelings of physical/sexual attraction, though she’s too pure to really know what to do with them. (Because naturally, she’s a virgin. Probably the type who’s waiting until marriage, like her mom and dad want.)

A revised version of this plot - which, of course, removes the supernatural elements - would still keep the investigation as basically the backdrop of the plot. A bunch of church members have disappeared, and my guy is either federally tasked with finding them or just taking it upon himself as a private eye. In any case, he meets the preacher as well as his daughter, and both express that they’re more than happy to help. But naturally, my guy is far more interested in the girl… for reasons that might not be so noble.

While inevitably the agent would get his hands on her, the corruption factor of the original plot included a reveal to the preacher’s daughter about the existence of the supernatural, and thus shaking her faith in her own religion on top of being tainted by the sexual awakening he gives her. For the modern, more contemporary version of the plot, I could see that added factor of internal conflict — if there was ever another one needed or wanted, just to add a little more flavor to the plot — being taken from something more personal, like her finding out about how all the members of the church that she puts on such a high pedestal… aren’t so devout and devoid of sin, as it turns out. (Like, maybe her father is having an affair with another woman in the church, or something like that.) It just shakes her to her core, and she opens herself up to the agent because, one, he’s there and she likes him, and two, he isn’t directly involved with the church so she feels safe talking to him about her feelings.
