it's simply an unwritten rule to not use fic related tags for non fic related posts! it disrupts the flow when we browse through the tags looking for stories so it's just a little annoying ygm? imagine if every single writer did this— it'd make finding stories under the fic tags impossible because it'd be crowded with random update and personal posts.

So it probably won't even work the way you want it to, like it might end up making people block you because you use wrong tags :/
