Okay I was just listening to this interview: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=acR95rfB8cU and wow I think I've never heard Richard laughing so much! Well I know it's just him laughing, but again, it's HIM laughing and fuck I've been fangirling so much about this man recently ughhhh

Only way to escape

NOZ: As a teenager you played rock and punk music. Did you also want to impress the girls?

Richard: (laughs) Probably. Although I never had any problems getting girls. I wasn't the ugly, shy guy in the corner. My situation was more like that: I was grounded quite often and music was the only way for me to escape. I can remember sitting at home alone in this dreary room, looking outside and listening to tapes of Led Zeppelin, Black Sabbath and AC/DC. Those were mental trips for me to get out of the East.
