As the first really big event from ToT, Lost Gold has really proven itself to be a huge part in building this fandom’s memebase. We’ve got such memorable lines as:

And Rosa saying the NXX’s cumulative age is six. This one is not memed as much as I believe it should be. She leads them on one of those kindergarten leashes when they misbehave.

“Don’t…” Darlin said. It was so hard to talk. Could words be too heavy?

David knelt in front of them. They were sitting sideways in the passenger seat of a car, shoulder to the seat and legs out the door, boots in the gravel. They were so deep into the night now. “You need a healer,” he said. He was always so clear. How come words didn’t sound heavy for him?

Darlin looked down at themself. Jeans torn by design and shirt torn not at all by design. Everything bloody. They didn’t hurt anymore. They were just tired and cold. Oh shit. That couldn’t be good.

“He’s on his way,” Asher said from the side, worry in his voice.

Darlin winced, closing their eyes. He always came when they needed him. How did he do that? Why did he do that?

David’s hand settled on their knee, firm and warm and there—reminding Darlin they were alive and not alone even when they couldn’t bring themself to open their eyes. Everything was heavy.

Don’t Cry

They only knew two numbers by heart other than their own.

They wanted to call Davey. They wanted Davey.

But he was out of town and calling him from a hospital like these was just cruel. What would he be able to do? He’d ditch the job and come straight back, they knew that. They wanted that. But it wasn’t right. They picked up the phone. It was weird and had a cord and actual buttons. Their hand shook, their knuckles scabbed and bruising. They dialed and held the phone close to their face but not touching. Their face hurt. Everything hurt. They were about to hang up when the call connected.

“Hello?” Asher asked, curious about the unfamiliar number.

“A—” Angel started and then choked back the rise of tears. Oh shit. No. Don’t cry! That wasn’t fair. They hadn’t cried when the cops brought them to the hospital. They hadn’t cried when they realized their phone had been stolen along with their backpack and all their stuff. They hadn’t cried when they made the report. They hadn’t even cried when they got stitches. They had kept their shit together!

“Hello?” Asher sounded worried now.

I started using these eyes when I picked up ts2 last summer and immediately converted them to ts4 because I loved the look of them so much. Originally, I intended to release them for Simblreen, but didn’t manage to make a preview in time :/ Here they are now, though! Better late than never and all that.

∴ credit: the eye textures are by @uranium-z and the sclera is an edit/combination of pixelore’s and crybabies’ scleras

∴ 57 swatches from the solar redux eyes (does not include the alien or blind swatches)

∴  available as facepaint or occult eye scar (requires get famous or vampires and the facepaint version)

∴ perfectly aligns with pixelore’s sclera overlay
