So I feel like first off this girl is definitely texting him that she still has it (she picks and chooses the crimes she commits okay). And if he's like 'treat yo self' about it then 100% she is getting some upgrades and custom shit done on her motorcycle. Like I feel like that's where she'd really splurge since she doesn't strike me as super materialistic (mostly because I hc that the Association pays they're hunters well enough so she can actually afford her own stuff if she really wanted to,. Like not rich but comfortable and paid better than most). Maybe she'd buy herself a few pairs of boots and gloves for patrolling, maybe just a few pieces of clothing to add to her closet. Oh! And she's sooo using the card to drop some hefty donations at a few animal shelters. Gotta make sure the cute animals stay fed lmao.

Yes they are. I'm familiar with several fandom's, but if I come across one I'm not familiar with I might have questions if I can't figure it out on my own lol.

Nestling deeper into the blanket burrito she had formed around herself, Aurora gave him an appreciative smile as she watched him silence his watch. She really had overworked herself this time, taking on more missions than normal and just constantly pushing her body past its limits. "Really? You really are the best Xavier." Aurora told him as she scooted herself closer so she could lean against him with a happy sigh.

"When I'm not feeling so run down I can cook you dinner if you want." It was the least she could do for him if he was going to go through all the trouble of making she she didn't starve that day. "Will you spend the day with me? Or do you have things you need to do today?"

A soft hum resonates from the hunter's lips for a moment as he thought over her statement. On one hand he knew it'd be best to coax her out of the cocoon of blankets she's made for herself, but on the other hand he can't help but sympathize. All those long shifts lately at work surely had to be weighing down on her. Xavier can't even recall if she took a day off last week. Sapphire eyes conveyed a strong sense of concern before he made the decision of silencing any calls and / or alarms from the association on his watch. Once silenced, he took to sitting beside her on the other end of the sofa.

So I haven't settled on a main backstory for Aurora yet, I do see her as sort of a nexus being/anchor being type of figure (yes that is an mcu reference don't judge me). A version of her exists across the multiverse, and each time she dies she's reborn. My personal headcanon based on what I've read and listened to is she is always fated to have an aether core placed into her heart one way or another and the cycle continues again and again, and will continue to do so until Astra gets dealt with (because everything is his fault. when i catch you astra, astra when i catch you) Anyways...because of all her past, and apparently future? lives Aurora can tap into certain skills that she's learned or will learn, hence why she's so proficient with different sorts of weapons. It feels like muscle memory for her, so she picks it up new weapon skills easier than most other hunters.
