Decided to paint the view I saw in December in Biała Podlaska. Wouldn't have posted it if not for the church that i really enjoyed painting

I bought myself aquarelles yesterday. I completely forgot how to use them (not that I ever did that properly), but I'm so excited

The Crooked Forest

This pine grove is one of the most unusual forests in Central Europe. The so-called Crooked Forest (Krzywy Las) is a grove of oddly-shaped pine trees located outside Gryfino, West Pomerania, Poland. The grove was planted around 1930, when its location was still within the German province of Pomerania. It is generally believed that some form of human tool or technique was used to make the trees grow this way, but the method and motive are not currently known.

This little portable "stove" for brewing herbal tea in a pot has become my most beloved stationary candle holder for keeping my tea warm while I conduct lessons, paint or work. It's a brilliant invention
