Since April of this year Onyx Path Publishing, the team behind the World of Darkness 20th Anniversary games and the Chronicles of Darkness gamelines have suggested the possibility of creating a new modern horror/urban fantasy series.

While they may be the ones behind Werewolf: The Apocalypse 20th Anniversary Edition and Changeling: The Lost Second Edition they do not own those game lines and we’re simply producing those books for the license holder, Paradox Interactive who’ve been busy managing the 5e games. They can’t make new books for WoD or CofD without Paradox’s approval so announcements on new books has been very slow. This new project will be solely

Since about May, OPP has been uploading these odd vague trailers for something called “Curseborne”. They hardly give us any information outside of the name but all sings point to a modern day horror setting. Could this be the possible new game line they’ve suggested? Knowing them this new game would take advantage of their StoryPath Ultra leading to a more narrative and character focused game experience.

What do you guys think? Are we ready for a fourth(fifth if you count Monte Cook’s take) interpretation of a monsters living in the shadows setting? What old monsters would you like to see comeback, what would you like see changed?
