like it’s fine to want to acknowledge that she’s hurt people, and the way she used her powers was fucked up, but it is absolutely possible to have nuanced discussions and not categorically villanise her. it makes me so sad when people do that without remembering to take into consideration her side of the story- or straight up deciding that she doesn’t deserve any consideration because of actions she was forced into. (it’s even worse when that is motivated by her being a hindrance to herondaisy rather than the real victimisation of the men she used her powers on. very few people doing that but still makes me uncomfy every time.)

there is such a big theme in tlh about redemption and and forgiveness and characters who made mistakes or had to overcome horrible situations that forced them into making impossible decisions but who still manage to hold onto the good in themselves and others and find a light at the end of the tunnel. and grace is such a poster child for this I don’t understand how anyone could not see that.

and while I like what cc did here, i absolutely think that chot didn’t go far enough and she totally deserved to stab tatiana 🔪😈

It's baffling to me that people want Grace to be "punished for her actions" in ChoT. Like, girliepop, the entire sixteen (16) years she's been alive thus far have been nothing but punishment after punishment for transgressions that didn't even exist yet. Lay off this little girl please!!!
