so. the red banquet huh.

as far as i know, we don’t know the clear purpose yet. all ant said was that “the egg wants to feed us all, so why not have a banquet?” or something along those lines.

something tells me it has something to do with the “final stage” they were talking about in the deadinnit celebration stream. ant was even talking about finally doing his part and having bad do his, and of course, they mentioned that they seem pretty clear to continue onto this “final stage” with some final preparations. 

so it could be sort of a celebration for the final phase of the egg and stuff. there will… probably be some bloodshed tbh, as the guests of honor are vehemently against the egg (puffy, foolish, and i believe eret checks out as well. though sam is unclear but last we heard he was against) and also the egg is known to eat people.

(about what the final stage will be; it’s probably going to be the egg finally fulfilling everyone’s desires, hence the “feed us all” part, perhaps some sacrifices, and the egg fully taking over, but that’s just an offhand speculation)

now. the ides of march huh. 

the date known for celebrations of gods, feasts and festivals, and especially for murdering a certain emperor.

it’s pretty much the perfect time to hold the banquet; it’s literally a day for sacrifices and festivities, for worshiping gods. though if we were to take the emperor-murdering part into consideration, that’s rather concerning, as the only symbol of power at the banquet would be eret, or bad (technically, as he seems to be the de facto leader of the eggpire; he started it after all). but we will see.

so my lil theory is this: the banquet will take place sometime around the ides of march. there will be sacrifices made, and it’s not going to be pretty.

a funny concept: the egg is a hivemind, obviously, and it can speak to all of its followers from distances. but it can’t speak to them individually. so just imagine, one follower is having a dramatic interaction with the egg that warrants a certain phrase, but every other follower also hears it completely out of context.

the egg, confronting Bad about failing to convert someone: you failed.

Bad: I know. I’m sorry.

*Somewhere, on the other side of the server, Ant only heard “you failed” after dropping his ice cream cone and is now crying on the ground.*

Bad: Red… Imma name him *gasp* Strawberry!!!!

Skeppy: *gasp* Mine’s gonna be Blueberry!!!

Bad: Blueberry!!

Skeppy: BLUEBERRY AND STRAWBERRY!!! *giggles*

Bad: YESS!! I LOVE IT!!

ok i was thinking about the whole bbh no concept of freind groups/ always inviting skeppy to stuff thing and u know what? skeppy was at pummel party one time and it was actually pretty fun -homophobicpunz

TRUE, though i do feel like in general Skeppy is hesitant to join in massive group calls/streams with other people he isn’t as familiar with. 

That (incredibly scuffed) trivia game Quackity hosted was basically the Dream Team screaming the whole time and Skeppy was dead silent for a lot of it. 

And the specific day I’m talking about in that post, Skeppy went from loudly arguing and screaming with Bad on his own stream to silently/shyly doing whatever Bad told him to do in Minecraft (and occasionally chiming in the conversation). And then he dipped after a while even though he was still watching the stream after leaving VC.

Bad is that person that has no concept of separating his friend groups which is why he dumped Skeppy into a VC with George and Dream and was somehow surprised it was awkward and they all dipped on him asap
