I Was Walking Through The Toy Aisle At Target When I Found This Thing And Had A VIOLENT AND IMMEDIATE

I was walking through the toy aisle at Target when I found this thing and had a VIOLENT AND IMMEDIATE FLASHBACK to when JP first came out and they had a bunch of REALLY COOL T Rex toys that I would have sold one of my scrawny small-child limbs for but my mother wouldn’t get me one because they were “too violent and also ate people” :(

“why does that character have to be queer?”

why not?

“why does that character have to be trans?”

why not?

“why does that character have to be a poc?”

why not?

My favorite thing is when two characters are married in all but rings but don’t realize it. BUT THEY KNOW THEY LOVE EACH OTHER (that’s important. None of that endless pining shit. Please)

When you have the characters, and an overall story, but no plot.

Kinda long poem so it’s mostly under the cut

I took the fast train

And I rode it in style.

With the loot that I gained,

I’m not stayin’ for trial.

“Hands up!” Said a Stranger

Busting down the door.

I knew there was danger

When his boots hit the floor.

“Keep ‘em high, pretty eyes,”

Said the Stranger to me.

“There’s no reason to die,

I just want gold, you see.”

“Well stranger,” says I,

“I’m sorry to tell

I tossed mine all down

In the wishing well.”

“What did you wish for?”

The stranger asked me.

“I wished for a stranger,

So handsome to see.

“I wished for a stranger,

To take me away.

So now that you’re here,

No need to delay.

“I’m outside the law

And folks I have none.

It’s nice having comp’ny

When you’re on the run.”

“Come on.” Said the Stranger.

“I just want the pearls.

Not some idiot thief

With mud water curls.”

“Too bad.” Says I,

While drawing sidearm.

“I hoped this would end

With doing no harm.”

“What kinda jewels did

You toss in that well?”

The Stranger was planning.

He knew, I could tell.

“I guess that depends,”

I said with a wink,

“On what you say next.

Go on then: think.”
